You will lead the commercialization of a new learning technology product line by building market awareness and securing early adopter opportunities across higher education institutions. This involves managing complex sales cycles, fostering executive-level relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape product strategy.
We are looking for a Strategic Product Sales Manager (Learning Technology) to join the Clarivate Teaching and Learning team in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to help launch Clarivate’s new product offering in the Teaching and Learning space. Clarivate’s new product line is designed to help colleges and universities improve teaching, learning, faculty innovation, and student success through actionable intelligence, connecting academic strategy, learning experiences, instructional practices, and educational outcomes through a unified intelligence layer.
As one of the first commercial hires dedicated to this new product line, you will play a pivotal role in introducing a new category of technology to higher education. During the initial phase of commercialization, you will engage universities to demonstrate the value of the products while simultaneously developing executive relationships and strategic opportunities that support broader adoption of the full vision over time.
The role is an instrumental part of a small, high-impact commercialization team focused on bringing the products to market and establishing a new category within higher education technology. This role reports to the Director, Product Sales. We have deep expertise in higher education, teaching and learning, product strategy, and commercialization, and we would love to speak with you if you have experience selling strategic enterprise solutions into colleges and universities and have an established network of academic and institutional leaders.

About the Team
The Clarivate Teaching and Learning team is focused on bringing a new suite of products to colleges and universities seeking to improve teaching effectiveness, faculty innovation, learning outcomes, and student success. Currently in development with leading institutions, these products will develop into a new category of educational technology designed to provide academic leaders with actionable intelligence that connects learning experiences, academic strategy, and institutional outcome.
As a member of this team, you will have the rare opportunity to help establish an entirely new category within higher education. You will engage with Provosts, Vice Provosts, CIOs, teaching and learning teams and faculty. Success in this role requires the ability to navigate complex university environments while establishing executive-level relationships and helping institutions solve strategic teaching and learning challenges.
This role works closely with a cross-functional team that includes product management, customer success, marketing, solution experts, and executive leadership. You will help shape how the market understands and adopts these products. Success during the early stages of commercialization will be measured not only by revenue generation, but also by creating market awareness, securing institutional engagement, validating use cases, and building the foundation for broader adoption of the full solution over time.
