Position Overview:

The Strategic Account Manager plays a key role in supporting the processing of Strategic Partner transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of documentation and communications. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, with strong communication and analytical skills, a thorough understanding of the Working Capital Loan industry, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Processing: Accurately process transactions originated by Strategic Partners from Application Submission through Funding process, ensuring all relevant documentation is in place and compliant with company policies.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Strategic Partners.
  • Data Entry & Documentation: Input transaction data into systems, review Partner submissions, and verify that all necessary forms and supporting materials are complete and accurate.
  • Partner Communication: Serve as a point of contact for Partners, answering queries related to transactions, offers, status updates, or procedural issues.
  • Document Preparation & Compliance: Ensure all necessary documentation for loan renewals is prepared, accurately according to company’s sales, credit and compliance policies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and organized records of all Partner transactions and interactions for auditing and reporting purposes.


  • System Updates: Monitor and update internal systems to reflect the latest transaction statuses and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales leadership, Underwriting and Operations teams to ensure a smooth and efficient process while resolving any issues or escalated concerns related to Partner transactions.
  • Problem Resolution: Assist Partners in resolving transaction issues, discrepancies, or concerns, offering timely solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance the overall Partner experience.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in Sales or Operations in the Small Business Finance industry, with a strong understanding of Working Capital Loans.

 

Skills/Attributes:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage Partner relationships effectively.
  • Knowledge of Working Capital Loan products and industry standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and goals.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • A high level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
