The Granicus Accounting team is a dynamic and high performing group that partners with both internal and external customers to drive success for the Company. We are looking for a motivated and effective leader to join our accounting team.  The ideal candidate would be resourceful, flexible with requests, enjoys solving problems and is effective at managing relationships and communicating.  This position will be based in Costa Rica.

What your impact will look like:
  • Assumes responsibility of month end close tasks include (but not limited to):
oPrepare variance review for management review as part of financial reporting
oPrepare and post various journal entries
oManagement of all expenses related to hosting COGS, working with various departments
oManagement of all allocation journal entries and allocation module
oTrack hardware deployments and validate revenue recognition
oReview and post all journals related to lease 842 module
oCoding and recording of company credit card transactions
oAP and Expense report accruals for expenses occurred but not yet received
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations with accuracy, prior reconciliation experience preferred
  • Assist with ad hoc projects specific to acquisitions
  • Assist in supplying documentation in a yearly external audit
  • Record all AR and AP journals related to operational team requests
  • Order hardware via Salesforce shipping requests and reconcile within NetSuite module 


You'll love this job if:
  • You have 1-3 years of related experience in various accounting roles (AR, AP, general ledger, revenue, payroll)
  • You have a BA/BS in Accounting or a related field
  • You communicate well with team members and customers 
  • You have intermediate MS Office skills
  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus
  • Experience with balance sheet reconciliations
  • You are detail-oriented, with exceptional problem-solving skill
  • You have effective project management skills, including challenging the status quo and identifying needs to re-assess existing approaches/processes
  • You are adaptable and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • You demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy
