AI Summary

The Senior Program Manager will lead multi-workstream carrier engagements from solution design through go-live, ensuring delivery remains on scope, schedule, and budget. They will serve as the primary delivery counterpart to the client, managing internal teams and third-party vendors while maintaining program health and documentation.

About Sureify

Sureify builds the digital platform life and annuity carriers use to sell, serve and grow. Our products — LifetimeACQUIRE, LifetimeAGENT, LifetimeSERVICE and CoreCONNECT — power quote-to-issue, agent portals, policyholder self-service and the data layer behind them. Carriers like Amica, AAA Life, Nationwide and Farmers rely on Sureify to support more than 1.5 million agent and policyholder interactions every month.

About the role

Sureify is hiring a Sr Program Manager to own delivery of a multi-year, multi-workstream carrier engagement. You will run it from Solution Design Workshop handoff through go-live and transition into managed services, landing it on scope, schedule and budget.

You will report to the Sr. Director, Practice Lead, and work alongside Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, engineering, QA and product teams. You are the carrier's day-to-day delivery counterpart and the practice's source of truth on engagement health.

What you'll do

Lead multi-workstream programs

  • Turn confirmed SDW scope into an integrated implementation plan: epics, milestones, dependencies and a resource-loaded timeline.
  • Run several concurrent workstreams (platform configuration, integrations, forms, data migration, vendor deliverables) as one program with one critical path.
  • Ensure successful execution of timelines, budget, scope and delivery quality across a large, complex program.
  • Run kickoff and Sprint 0, including the client prerequisites checklist: forms, system access, credentials and sandbox environments.

Own budget and commercial health

  • Manage delivery to the fixed schedule including tracking hours used, estimate to complete, estimate at completion and variance reporting.
  • Forecast overruns early and bring the Sr. Director a recommendation, not just a number.
  • Maintain the SOW assumptions baseline, identify change-order triggers, and draft and negotiate change orders with the carrier.

Manage risk and dependencies

  • Own the RAID log and the query log of open carrier questions; review weekly and drive aging items to closure.
  • Anticipate cross-workstream and client-side risks and dependencies and develop mitigation plans before they block delivery.
  • Escalate early and clearly when a risk threatens milestones, budget or the relationship.
  • Coach others on the team in issue management.

Own reporting, documentation and metrics

  • Produce the weekly internal briefing and manage content for client-facing status deck, with objective Schedule, Scope, Quality and Budget ratings.
  • Track decisions and action items through to closure.
  • Own detailed program documentation and dashboards.
  • Establish and refine program success metrics and run post-launch evaluations.
  • Tailor communication to each audience, from unit leads to executives.

Lead the client relationship day-to-day

  • Serve as the primary delivery counterpart to the carrier's program and project leads, running weekly status meetings and providing detailed metrics for Sr. Director managed steering committees.
  • Build trust with carrier program and project stakeholders and spot expansion opportunities for the Sr. Director.

Coordinate across Sureify

  • Drive collaboration across multiple internal and external teams, aligning Scrum Masters, BAs, engineering, QA and support around shared milestones.
  • Route base-product gaps to Product and track them as program dependencies.
  • Manage third-party integration vendors and their timelines.

Drive quality through go-live

  • Own acceptance gate readiness, UAT planning, migration readiness, cutover and hypercare.
  • Recommend go/no-go decisions and run a clean handoff into managed services.

What you bring

  • 6 to 10 years of project delivery experience in SaaS or insurtech, including complex client engagements.
  • A track record of leading multi-year engagements valued at up to $10M, with direct accountability for budget, margin-relevant hours and change orders.
  • Experience running 2 or more concurrent workstreams (for example configuration, integrations, data migration and vendor deliverables) under one integrated plan.
  • Strong financial management: work-order or SOW budget tracking, estimate-to-complete forecasting and variance reporting on fixed-price and time-and-materials contracts.
  • Skill in scope and change control, including identifying the need for change orders with Sureify leadership.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery teams and Scrum Masters and bridging sprint-level progress to program-level milestones.
  • Communication tailored to every audience, from unit leads to executives: clear status reporting, steering committee facilitation and calm escalation.
  • Proven ownership of RAID management, UAT, cutover and go-live for enterprise software implementations.
  • Working knowledge of Jira or similar delivery tooling.
  • Experience establishing success metrics and running post-launch evaluations.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred; Agile certification (CSM or SAFe) recommended.

Nice to have

  • Deep knowledge of an enterprise insurance SaaS platform, with the confidence to guide technical tradeoffs.
  • Experience in life insurance, annuities or broader financial services, especially digital new business, e-application, underwriting or policy administration.
  • Familiarity with carrier systems of record, ACORD standards (such as TC103), and e-signature and forms workflows.
  • Experience delivering platform upgrades or legacy-to-modern migrations for enterprise clients.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted delivery tools for status reporting, meeting notes and risk tracking.
Base annual salary
$155,000—$180,000 USD
