About the Role

The Employee Relations Partner, Transformation & Employment Practices is a key member of the People & Employment Practices (PEP) team, responsible for supporting a fair, consistent, and legally compliant workplace across multiple jurisdictions. This role serves as a trusted advisor on employee relations and employment practices matters, providing guidance on policy interpretation, employment compliance, organizational change initiatives, and risk mitigation.

The ER Partner collaborates closely with Legal, HR Business Partners, Employee Relations colleagues, and cross-functional stakeholders to support policy development, employment practices governance, workforce transformation initiatives, and the consistent application of employment standards across the organization.


Key Responsibilities
• Support the development, review, maintenance, and interpretation of global and regional employment-related policies and practices; partner with Legal and other stakeholders to help ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations and assist in assessing potential impacts on policies, practices, and employment processes.
• Assist with State and Federal Reporting as needed.
• Support employment practice reviews and audits, identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and assist with SOX, ISO, and other compliance audits as needed.
• Support Conflict of Interest (COI) governance activities, including reviewing disclosures, maintaining documentation, tracking approvals, and partnering with Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders as needed.
• Assist with background check adjudications, partnering with Talent Acquisition, respective stakeholders to review findings, assess risk, and ensure consistent application of hiring standards and company policy.
• Participate in and support workforce transformation initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, by assisting with employment-related due diligence, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and administrative support.
• Draft, review, and support the implementation of employment-related agreements, notices, and communications to help ensure consistency with legal requirements and organizational standards.
• Partner with Employee Relations, HRBPs, Legal, and business leaders on employee matters, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Support PEP and cross-functional projects, initiatives, and process improvement efforts.
• Assist in the development and delivery of training related to employment policies, employee relations practices, and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and operational effectiveness within Employee Relations and Employment Practices.
• Additional duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications 
• 5+ years of experience in employee relations, human resources, employment practices, employment law, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Experience supporting policy development, policy interpretation, employee relations matters, and employment compliance activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to assess risk and exercise sound judgment.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in a matrixed and/or global organization preferred.
• Experience with HRIS, case management systems, and reporting tools preferred.
• Exposure to global employment practices and multi-jurisdictional employee relations matters is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

The pay range for this position is $80,800 to $116,150. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
