Delivering with high visibility across SLS Consultants, the Sr. Director of Project Management will serve as the strategic leader for the company’s Data Center Strategic Accounts. In this newly created role, your core mission is to transform existing Strategic Accounts within SLS’ portfolio into multi-serviced Key Accounts. Reporting directly to Executive Leadership, you will bridge revenue growth, strategic account development, and high-level delivery oversight. You will act as a trusted peer to client real estate and construction leaders, leveraging your deep data center expertise to gain early visibility into their current and future portfolios while mentoring the SLS teams executing on the ground.
Core Responsibilities
Lead the account expansion strategy to scale Strategic Accounts into Key Accounts with 10+ team members and multi-service engagements.
Partner with client real estate, facility, and construction leaders to gain insight into their current and future construction and real estate portfolios.
Working with marketing and business development, drive account revenue through proposal development, cross-selling SLS service lines, and client relationship management, primarily in a farming capacity.
Maintain agility to quickly identify and strike on greenfield business development opportunities as they arise.
Oversee full client project portfolios across all stages, including planning, development, active construction, and ongoing operations.
Ensure operational excellence, consistency, and top-tier service delivery across all client programs
Serve as the executive point of escalation for project health, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction.
Direct, lead, and mentor SLS consulting teams executing on the ground, supporting both junior and senior-level staff.
Define account organizational structures, anticipate resource needs, and scale staffing to support growth.
Manage portfolio P&L, contract performance, revenue forecasting, and account-level profitability.
Partner with internal teams to standardize account delivery frameworks and playbooks for scalable growth.
Qualifications & Requirements
15+ years of progressive experience in construction management, general contracting, and/or real estate development.
Significant experience managing and delivering mission critical data center projects.
Recognized data center subject matter expertise to serve as a trusted industry expert to clients.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proven track record in account farming, revenue growth, proposal creation, and business development.
Demonstrated ability to strike on greenfield opportunities and expand footprint with new and existing clients.
Strong leadership skills with a history of mentoring both junior and senior project management staff.

Compensation: Compensation for this role is 225k-275k, plus incentives. Total compensation is based on years of experience, expertise, and location.
Location & Flexibility: This is a remote role with travel for client/company meetings and industry events. It’s a plus if the selected candidate is located in a key Mission Critical market.
