  • Travel regularly throughout the territory to support customers, distributors, and new-business development activities.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3–5+ years of direct technical sales, territory sales, account management, or business-development experience selling industrial sensors, electronic components, electromechanical components, or industrial automation components.
  • Demonstrated experience selling industrial sensors, photoelectric/proximity sensors, encoders, safety sensors, machine-vision products, connectors/interconnect products, active/passive electronic components, electromechanical components, or comparable industrial automation/electronics products.
  • Experience selling directly to OEMs, manufacturers, engineering organizations, or industrial customers and/or through specialized electronics or automation distribution channels.
  • Demonstrated success developing and managing a geographic sales territory.
  • Ability to understand customer applications and communicate technical product value to engineers and technical decision-makers.
  • Experience managing the full B2B sales cycle, including prospecting, account development, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50%, including regular vehicle travel throughout the Southeast.
