About the Role

We're growing quickly, and as our Product & Engineering organization expands, we're looking for someone who thrives on bringing clarity, structure, and operational excellence to fast-moving teams.

Responsibilities

As Syllo's Technical Program Manager, you'll own the operational pulse of Product & Engineering.

  • Drive day-to-day execution of our software development lifecycle, maintaining alignment between teams without sacrificing speed.
  • Manage work within the Product & Engineering organization from triage through to completion.
  • Maintain GitHub Projects as the source of truth for engineering execution and provide leadership with clear visibility to the status of all work done by engineers, product builders and designers.
  • Partner with leaders of Product, Engineering, Design, and QA, to continuously improve how we build software.
  • Manage the work of Product Builders responsible for leveraging agentic coding to create new workflows and improve existing ones.

This is a highly cross-functional role that requires exceptional organization, sound judgment, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with meticulous execution.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management, Engineering Operations, or a similar role supporting software engineering organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading execution across multiple engineering teams in a high-growth technology company.
  • Strong understanding of modern software development practices, including Agile, Scrum, Git-based development workflows, CI/CD, and software release processes.
  • Experience managing technical programs from planning through delivery, coordinating dependencies, resolving blockers, and driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Comfortable partnering with highly technical engineering leaders while effectively communicating with Product, Design, QA, Customer Success, and executive leadership.
  • Experience using engineering planning and collaboration tools such as GitHub Projects, Jira, Linear, Notion, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage many concurrent initiatives without losing attention to detail.
  • Strong judgment and the ability to balance competing priorities while helping teams make thoughtful tradeoffs.
  • Proven ability to improve engineering processes and operational efficiency without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical work into clear updates for a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Highly proactive and self-directed. You identify problems before they become blockers and build systems that help teams operate more effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities evolve quickly and ambiguity is expected.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting AI/ML, developer infrastructure, or platform engineering teams.
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS or enterprise software companies.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Projects as an engineering planning tool.
  • Experience working alongside QA and release management organizations.
  • Familiarity with legal technology, document-intensive workflows, or regulated industries.
  • Experience introducing operational metrics, dashboards, or engineering KPIs to improve delivery predictability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
