Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Senior Technical Manager (Data & Apps) to lead and own enterprise data and analytics programs end-to-end. This role requires a techno-functional leader who combines deep expertise in data platforms, architecture, and BI ecosystems with strong people leadership and business problem-solving capabilities.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technology leader who can provide architectural direction, solve complex business challenges through data, drive execution across multiple initiatives, and build high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Ownership & Delivery

• Own and manage Data & BI programs from strategy through execution.
  
• Drive end-to-end delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  
• Take complete accountability for program outcomes, quality, timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  
• Manage multiple priorities and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
  

Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead architecture and solution design discussions across data and analytics initiatives.
  
• Define scalable and sustainable data solutions to address complex business challenges.
  
• Provide technical direction and governance across the data ecosystem.
  
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
  

Data & Business Intelligence Leadership

• Drive initiatives across data warehousing, data integration, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence platforms.
  
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making.
  
• Translate business requirements into technology solutions that generate measurable value.
  
• Guide teams in solving real-world data and reporting challenges.
  

Technical Leadership

• Provide hands-on technical guidance without direct coding responsibility.
  
• Review solution approaches, architecture designs, and implementation strategies.
  
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex delivery and operational challenges.
  
• Drive continuous improvements in data engineering and BI practices.
  

People Management & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of approximately 10–12 members.
  
• Build team capabilities through performance management, career development, and technical coaching.
  
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and collaboration.
  
• Support talent development and succession planning initiatives.
  

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with senior business and technology leaders, including VP-level stakeholders.
  
• Influence decision-making through strong communication and solution-driven discussions.
  
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful program. delivery.
  
• Provide executive-level updates on program health, risks, and strategic initiatives.
  

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  

Experience

• 15+ years of overall IT experience.
  
• Significant experience in Data Management, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Analytics.
  
• Proven experience owning and delivering large-scale enterprise data programs.
  
• Demonstrated success managing and developing high-performing teams.
  

Technical Skills

Must-Have

• Strong understanding of Data Architecture principles.
  
• Expertise in SQL and enterprise database technologies.
  
• Experience with Teradata or similar large-scale data warehouse platforms.
  
• Strong knowledge of Data Integration, ETL, and BI ecosystems.
  
• Experience designing enterprise-grade data solutions from concept through implementation.
  
• Strong understanding of reporting, analytics, and data governance frameworks.
  

Preferred

• Experience with modern cloud-based data platforms and analytics solutions.
  
• Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks.
  
• Knowledge of data modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
