Senior Staff Accountant / Tax Professional — Fully Remote (U.S.)

About the Role
An established public accounting firm is looking to add an experienced Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to its team. This is a fully remote position and candidates may work from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules

• Record and review adjusting journal entries

• Prepare individual and business tax returns

• Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information

• Support month-end and year-end close processes

• Communicate directly with clients as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting or tax experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CPA or active progress toward CPA license preferred

• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and individual/business tax preparation

• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
