We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Permanent Senior Project Manager specializing in Medical Devices for our rapidly growing Technology division. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to manage and oversee the development and execution of complex medical device projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, contractor management, supplier management, and a deep understanding of the medical device industry's regulatory landscape. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams (CFT) through all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept to market release, ensuring all project goals are met within the specified timelines and budget.
  • Act as a project advocate, ensuring that all team members are aligned and working towards the same objectives.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the Design History File (DHF) ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with FDA requirements.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
  • Coordinate the development of embedded and electro-mechanical systems, ensuring all technical requirements are met.
  • Use your project management skills to manage risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify opportunities for process and product improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical, Software, or Systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the medical device industry.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, SOP, QMS, and DHF.
  • Experience in managing contractors and suppliers.
  • Proficient in the development of embedded and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Excellent project management skills, PMP certification is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
