About the Role
Forbes Advisor is hiring a Senior Post-Production Coordinator to help build and own the operational workflow for our growing paid social and native advertising post-production pipeline.
This role works across Creative, Production, Editors, Designers, Motion Graphics Artists, and other post-production resources to keep work organized, visible, efficient, and moving from incoming assets through final delivery.
The Senior Post-Production Coordinator will support all relevant content workstreams, including in-person productions, remote creator/UGC content, and fully AI-generated content.
This is not a people-management or creative direction role. Editors are managed by the Creative Directors within their respective verticals. This role owns the systems, coordination, asset tracking, and operational infrastructure that allow those teams to work efficiently and consistently as production volume grows.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate post-production across Editors, Designers, Motion Graphics Artists, freelancers, and other post resources across all content workstreams.
- Own day-to-day tracking of projects from incoming assets → assignment → editing → review → revisions → approval → final delivery.
- Maintain clear visibility into assignments, priorities, deadlines, incoming work, and post-production capacity.
- Partner with Creative Directors and Production to anticipate upcoming work, coordinate priorities, and ensure projects reach the appropriate post resources.
- Proactively identify and flag scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, missing assets, capacity issues, and workflow gaps before they impact delivery.
- Help build and continuously improve the Post-production operating system, including workflows, tracking, documentation, templates, automations, and AI-assisted processes.
- Establish and maintain consistent footage ingest, folder structures, file naming, versioning, tagging, and asset organization standards across content workstreams.
- Ensure footage and assets remain connected to the original Shoot ID, creative brief, scripts, production notes, and related project information.
- Help build a searchable, scalable asset structure that allows footage, selects, creator content, and supporting assets to be easily located and reused.
- Establish a clear Production → Post handoff, ensuring Post has visibility into incoming work and receives the assets, briefs, scripts, and notes needed to begin efficiently.
- Build and maintain the editing request and assignment process, including clear ownership, priorities, statuses, and deadlines.
- Help establish consistent review and feedback workflows while supporting the specific creative needs of each vertical.
- Help establish QA, delivery, export, naming, and final asset standards in partnership with Creative and Production.
- Track post-production capacity, turnaround times, and workflow friction to help identify when additional resources or process improvements are needed.
- Build repeatable workflows capable of supporting high-volume creative variations and rapid performance-marketing timelines.
- Identify opportunities to use automation and AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual work, improve organization, and accelerate the post-production pipeline.
- Maintain shared post-production processes, terminology, and core standards across verticals while allowing individual teams flexibility in how they manage their creative workflows.
- Document and maintain Post SOPs as workflows are developed and refined.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in post-production coordination, post operations, creative operations, or a similar role supporting high-volume digital content.
- Strong understanding of the full post-production lifecycle, including ingest, asset organization, editing, review, versioning, QA, and final delivery.
- Experience building or improving post-production workflows and systems, not simply working within existing ones.
- Highly organized and capable of independently owning multiple complex workflows, priorities, and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of asset management, file organization, metadata/tagging, and DAM systems.
- Experience with project-management and creative review tools and a strong understanding of how information should move between Production, Creative, and Post.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and common post-production tools and terminology.
- Experience working with short-form, social, performance marketing, or other high-volume creative environments strongly preferred.
- Comfortable using automation and AI-enabled tools to improve post-production workflows and reduce repetitive manual work.
- Strong communicator who can work effectively across Creative, Production, and Post teams.
- Proactive systems thinker who can identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and implement better ways of working.
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment where processes are actively being built and refined.
Strong Pluses:
- Experience with remote creator/UGC post-production workflows.
- Experience working with or finishing AI-generated video content.
- Experience building or managing DAM structures and searchable asset libraries.
- Experience coordinating freelance Editors, Designers, Motion Graphics Artists, or other post-production resources.
- Experience developing workflow automations or integrating AI tools into creative operations.
