The Harry's Inc working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. About the Role

The Retail Analytics Sr. Manager will play an integral role in building out our retail team foundation. This role will be directly responsible for managing a team of sales analysts and building out the roadmap for our Sales Analytics function within the Lume organization. For this role we are looking for an amazing people leader, who has a passion for storytelling using data. This person will ask “what else can we do?” and have a continuous improvement mindset, looking to find new and better ways to look at data. You will be a natural collaborator, who looks and enjoys to bring others along in the journey to building a best in class sales analytics function.

 

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a team leader and mentor, building sustainability and efficiencies through the creation of processes/tools, best methods, and ways of working for the total team in addition to proactively finding opportunities to scale across channels
  • Function as a “player/coach” within the organization, seamlessly transitioning between leading the team while also being willing to step in to complete day to day tasks and understanding where project ownership vs. delegation is required 
  • Serve as a Retail/CPG leader and data expert to peers, cross-functional and external partners
  • Be an “always-on storyteller” - interpreting the data, identifying the “so what” and “why” behind the headlines, influencing compelling data-driven presentations, diagnosing impact to channel P&L, driving action through weekly/monthly scorecards, and coaching others to do the same
  • Independently identify and drive strategic projects that help unlock new revenue-driving opportunities and push Lume’s strategy forward through thoughtful analysis of the category, competitive dynamics, shopper demographics, and purchase dynamics
  • Create and maintain best-in-class cross-functional relationships with internal and external partners through understanding interdependencies, proactive communication, and project management

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in an analytical and strategic data-driven role. Experience in CPG and/or Retail is a plus
  • Prior experience of directly managing a team of analysts
  • Experience with syndicated data (Circana/Nielsen) is a necessity
  • Passion to work with data and the ability to synthesize complex data from various sources
  • Excellent communicator and storyteller with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Takes ownership and responsibility for the work and desires to be seen as an analytics leader and problem solver, not just a report generator
  • Insatiably curious and always looking to learn something new seeking to improve yourself, your team, and the world around you
  • Professional and enthusiastic teammate with a passion to work collaboratively across teams and aim for results
  • Excellent communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Business Suite including PowerPoint and Excel

Who You’ll Work With:

  • You will report to the Head of Retail Strategy and Capabilities
  • Internally:You work work closely with the Lume Retail Sales, Insights, Analytics and Strategy teams
  • Externally: You may be asked to present category findings and analysis to external retailer partners as needed

That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $132,750-$140,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.
