Senior Manager, Marketing Operations
About the role
VitalEdge Technologies is seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to own the systems, data, processes, and reporting that power our marketing engine.
This person will serve as the operational air traffic controller for marketing, coordinating campaigns, email communications, nurture programs, workflows, audience segmentation, and measurement across the full buyer and customer journey.
Ensure marketing activities are properly executed, measured, and connected to pipeline, revenue, and return on investment. The Senior Manager will also own marketing technology management and enablement, website administration, paid media measurement, webinar production, and marketing reporting.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage complex systems, bring structure to competing priorities, and help teams use technology and data effectively.
What youβll do
Own full-funnel measurement and ROI reporting
- Establish a full-funnel measurement framework across awareness, engagement, lead generation, opportunity progression, customer expansion, and revenue.
- Measure performance at the contact, account, campaign, channel, product, segment, and buyer-stage levels.
- Connect marketing investments and activities to engagement, MQLs, opportunities, pipeline, closed-won revenue, and customer expansion.
- Build dashboards and reporting that clearly show marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline and revenue.
- Define and maintain campaign tracking, attribution, source definitions, naming conventions, and reporting standards.
- Monitor conversion rates, funnel velocity, account engagement, lead quality, campaign performance, and return on investment.
- Validate reporting accuracy and resolve discrepancies across marketing, CRM, advertising, website, and analytics platforms.
- Translate performance data into clear recommendations for Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and executive leadership.
Manage and enable the marketing technology stack
- Own the day-to-day management and improvement of HubSpot, 6Sense, WordPress, Zoom, analytics tools, and related marketing applications.
- Maintain reliable integrations and data flow across marketing automation, CRM, website, advertising, webinar, intent, and reporting systems.
- Manage platform configuration, user access, testing, governance, quality assurance, and documentation.
- Maintain the marketing technology roadmap and prioritize system improvements based on business needs.
- Evaluate new tools based on functionality, integration requirements, adoption, cost, and expected value.
- Create platform documentation, process guides, templates, and training materials.
- Lead onboarding, training, office hours, and ongoing enablement for marketing, sales and cross-functional users.
- Monitor platform adoption and address gaps through training, documentation, and process improvements.
Partner with Revenue Operations on CRM workflows
- Work closely with Revenue Operations to design, maintain, and improve Microsoft Dynamics workflows that support GTM processes.
- Align HubSpot and Dynamics lifecycle stages, campaign data, lead and contact records, account structures, opportunity data, and reporting.
- Own marketing requirements for lead routing, scoring, assignment, qualification, sales notifications, and follow-up workflows.
- Identify and resolve data-flow, synchronization, field-mapping, attribution, and workflow issues.
- Document system logic, field definitions, business rules, ownership, and change-management processes.
- Partner with Revenue Operations to maintain service-level agreements and improve marketing-to-sales handoffs.
- Ensure workflow changes are tested, documented, communicated, and adopted by impacted teams.
Coordinate email and nurture programs
- Serve as the operational air traffic controller for marketing emails, nurture programs, event communications, customer campaigns, and sales-supported outreach.
- Manage the marketing email calendar to prevent audience overlap, message fatigue, conflicting communications, and unnecessary volume.
- Coordinate email priorities, audience eligibility, timing, segmentation, suppression rules, and approval processes across marketing teams.
- Build and maintain nurture, re-engagement, webinar, event follow-up, account-based, customer, and expansion workflows.
- Ensure contacts and accounts enter the correct programs based on lifecycle stage, product interest, engagement, region, customer status, and buyer profile.
- Monitor email performance, deliverability, engagement, conversion, unsubscribe rates, and downstream pipeline impact.
- Identify stalled or conflicting nurture journeys and recommend improvements.
- Maintain clear documentation of active workflows, communication schedules, triggers, exclusions, and ownership.
Support Growth Marketing execution
- Support the planning, launch, tracking, and measurement of integrated growth campaigns.
- Build campaign audiences, segments, workflows, forms, landing pages, tracking structures, and reports.
- Ensure campaigns are properly connected across HubSpot, Dynamics, 6sense, WordPress, advertising, and analytics platforms.
- Support new-logo acquisition, customer expansion, account-based marketing, and partner programs.
- Identify which channels, campaigns, audiences, and content are generating meaningful engagement and pipeline.
- Improve campaign execution processes while maintaining data quality, measurement consistency, and audience governance.
Manage lifecycle, automation, and database governance
- Own lead lifecycle stages, scoring, routing, qualification, assignment, and sales handoff processes.
- Manage segmentation across prospects, customers, products, industries, regions, buyer roles, and ideal customer profiles.
- Monitor database quality, including duplicate records, incomplete fields, invalid data, consent status, suppression logic, and inactive contacts.
- Oversee data enrichment, normalization, cleansing, retention, and archival processes.
- Conduct regular audits of workflows, lists, forms, integrations, campaigns, dashboards, and routing rules.
- Identify breakdowns in lead flow, automation, or follow-up and coordinate corrective action.
- Ensure marketing processes follow company policies and applicable privacy and consent requirements.
Administer the website and support search visibility
- Serve as the primary marketing administrator for the VitalEdge WordPress website.
- Manage routine website updates, landing pages, forms, redirects, plugins, tracking codes, integrations, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate larger website projects with developers, agencies, designers, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate website analytics, conversion tracking, form tracking, consent tools, and CRM integrations.
- Apply SEO, answer engine optimization, and generative engine optimization foundations across website structure, metadata, internal linking, schema, indexing, and content publishing.
- Monitor organic search, AI search visibility, website engagement, user journeys, and conversion performance.
- Partner with content owners and external specialists on larger website, SEO, AEO, and GEO initiatives.
Measure paid media performance
- Measure paid search, paid social, display, programmatic, and retargeting programs.
- Connect paid media investment to account engagement, conversions, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue.
- Reconcile results across advertising platforms, website analytics, HubSpot, 6sense, and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Identify tracking gaps, reporting inconsistencies, and performance issues.
- Support budget pacing and vendor reviews with accurate performance and ROI reporting.
Produce and measure webinars
- Own webinar setup, registration, production, recordings, and post-event workflows.
- Ensure registration, attendance, and engagement data flow accurately into HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Build follow-up automation, lead routing, sales notifications, and nurture paths.
- Track webinar registrations, attendance, engagement, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue contribution.
- Maintain webinar templates, timelines, checklists, and performance benchmarks.
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, digital marketing operations, revenue operations, or related fields.
- Experience supporting complex sales cycles, multiple products, buyer groups, customer segments, and customer expansion programs.
- Strong hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM, attribution, analytics, and campaign measurement.
- Experience with HubSpot, 6Sense or comparable platforms.
- Experience partnering with Revenue Operations on CRM workflows, field governance, lifecycle stages, routing, and reporting.
- Experience coordinating complex email and nurture programs across multiple audiences and internal stakeholders.
- Experience building full-funnel reporting that connects marketing activities and investments to pipeline, revenue, and ROI.
- Experience with account-based marketing and intent platforms such as 6sense.
- Hands-on WordPress administration experience.
- Working knowledge of technical and on-page SEO, AEO, and GEO foundations.
- Experience measuring paid media and producing webinars.
- Demonstrated ability to train and enable users across multiple functions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining clear operational standards and timelines.
- Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and webinar platforms.
