Senior FP&A Analyst

The Role

Finance's strategy is to build an AI-native department that moves us from reporting on what happened to delivering real-time insights that help us make better decisions. The first step was moving to an AI-native general ledger, which we have done with Rillet. We are now rebuilding our Salesforce foundation so that clean go-to-market data feeds into our intelligence layer, Aleph, giving us a single repository across our go-to-market and financial systems, with dashboards and real-time insights for every leader.

This role is for someone who builds AI-first. You'll manage the forecast and reporting cycle, own our SaaS metrics, and prepare materials for our board and investors. You'll lead the implementation of Aleph and build the AI workflows and agents that pull actuals, flag variances, and draft first-pass commentary.

You'll also lead go-to-market metrics, owning the analytics layer across Finance and Revenue. Pipeline conversion, retention, and funnel economics will run through you, as you work directly with our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders.

You'll report to the CFO and take on significant delegated responsibility. 

What You'll Own

• The monthly forecast and budget-vs-actual cycle, with variance commentary that explains drivers rather than just reporting deltas
• Our SaaS and company-level metrics, including ARR, NRR/GRR, CAC payback, Rule of 40, and burn multiple, plus the hardware financing economics unique to our business
• The implementation and ongoing ownership of Aleph, our AI-native financial planning platform
• Go-to-market analytics as the lead analyst for the Revenue organization, spanning pipeline, funnel conversion, retention, and sales productivity
• Board and investor reporting materials, data room content, and diligence support during fundraising or strategic processes
• AI workflows and agents that automate recurring analysis, from data pulls and variance flags to first-pass commentary, with the checks and reconciliations that make the output defensible
• Scenario and decision models for questions like pricing, headcount ROI, and capital allocation

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

• 2 to 4 years in investment banking, private equity, or a comparably rigorous analytical seat, with a strong desire to move into an operating role
• Genuine curiosity about AI and the ambition to lean into it.
• Excellent modeling ability. You build clean, auditable models from scratch with transparent assumptions, and you can tell when a model is wrong
• Fluency in SaaS and company-level metrics and what drives them
• Strong written and verbal communication. You'll work directly with leaders across the business, and you need to be able to tell the story behind the numbers to people who aren't finance and metric driven
• Demonstrated ability to own significant work independently across multiple concurrent projects

Nice-to-haves:

• Experimentation with AI tools in your own work or personal projects
• Exposure to SaaS or recurring-revenue businesses through deal work or operating experience
• Experience supporting a fundraise or M&A transaction
• Experience with hardware or tech-enabled companies
