ROLE PURPOSE 🔍
The Senior Director, Global Strategic Client Partnerships is responsible for developing and expanding Kintiga’s most important client relationships globally, acting as a senior commercial leader and trusted advisor to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare organisations.
This role is deliberately global in remit and is not anchored to a single country, country P&L or local market language requirement. It is focused on building enterprise-level client partnerships, strengthening executive relationships and creating sustainable multi-year growth across priority accounts as detailed within Kintiga’s CCO-led commercial strategy.
Success will be achieved by understanding client priorities, anticipating future needs, shaping value-led opportunities and mobilising the full breadth of Kintiga’s capabilities to deliver measurable client impact.
We are seeking a senior, commercially astute client partnership leader who can:
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with senior global and regional client stakeholders.
- Own and deliver strategic account growth across multiple service lines, therapeutic areas and geographies.
- Create and shape high-value opportunities through consultative engagement, executive-level influence and close collaboration with Kintiga technical leaders.
- Act as the Account Lead for priority accounts and lead adoption of a consistent, disciplined key account management approach across Kintiga.
- Establish clear account governance, relationship mapping, opportunity discipline and internal ownership across assigned strategic accounts.
Success in this role is measured by strategic account growth (sales and revenue), senior client relationship strength, multi-service and multi-country expansion, client retention, opportunity conversion and contribution to Kintiga’s overall commercial strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic client partnership leadership
- Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with senior client stakeholders across Global Market Access, Pricing, HEOR, Medical, Commercial and General Management functions.
- Serve as Account Lead for strategically important global and regional client accounts.
- Build trusted advisor relationships that position Kintiga as a long-term strategic partner rather than a transactional supplier.
- Develop a deep understanding of client business objectives, portfolio priorities, organisational challenges and emerging market access needs.
- Anticipate client, market access and regulatory challenges, using this insight to shape account strategy, opportunity development and future partnership models.
Global account development
- Lead strategic account planning for priority accounts, defining account objectives, growth strategies, relationship maps, whitespace opportunities and measurable success plans.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through account expansion, increased share of wallet and conversion of multi-service and multi-country opportunities.
- Identify create and shape opportunities across market access, pricing, value demonstration, HEOR, HTA readiness, launch excellence, evidence generation, regulatory and medical affairs, and capability building.
- Ensure account strategies are actively managed, updated and translated into practical engagement plans with clear internal ownership.
- Establish and maintain account governance rhythms, including account reviews, senior stakeholder mapping, opportunity reviews, action tracking and internal alignment.
- Partner with delivery leaders to ensure client feedback, delivery quality, satisfaction and emerging client needs inform account growth and retention plans.
Commercial leadership and opportunity conversion
- Lead complex commercial discussions with senior client stakeholders and support negotiation of strategic partnership frameworks, master service agreements and preferred supplier opportunities where appropriate.
- Collaborate with technical leaders to shape high-value opportunities, compelling win strategies, differentiated proposals and executive-level client pitches.
- Support qualification, prioritisation and conversion of strategic pursuits, ensuring opportunities align with client priorities and Kintiga’s growth objectives.
- Protect value and margin by ensuring commercial narratives, scope and pricing are aligned to the complexity and strategic importance of the work.
Internal leadership and collaboration
- Mobilise cross-functional account teams around strategic client priorities and ensure colleagues are clear on account objectives, roles and next actions.
- Coach and support Account Leads and technical colleagues in strategic account management, client engagement and opportunity shaping.
- Support development and implementation of account management best practice, commercial excellence processes and consistent ways of working across the business.
- Champion a collaborative, client-centric culture that reflects Kintiga’s values, purpose and entrepreneurial approach.
Market leadership and external presence
- Represent Kintiga at industry conferences, congresses, client events and senior stakeholder forums.
- Build relationships with strategic partners, industry associations and market opinion leaders where these strengthen Kintiga’s external reputation and opportunity pipeline.
- Provide insight into market, regulatory, access and account trends to inform account strategy, proposition development, thought leadership and go-to-market activity.
Commercial strategy contribution
- Contribute to development and execution of Kintiga’s commercial growth strategy, including targeting, segmentation and key account management initiatives.
- Use client insight to inform future service offerings, partnership models, marketing activity and commercial processes.
- lead disciplined account planning, support continuous improvement of CRM discipline, opportunity governance, account planning and business development operating rhythms.
- Ensure strategic account plans, relationship maps, opportunity records and governance actions are maintained in CRM and actively used to drive account decisions.
ABOUT YOU 🚀
Education & qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Business, Health Economics, Healthcare Management or a related field.
- Advanced commercial, consultative selling, strategic account management or business development training desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems; ability to use data and account insight to drive disciplined commercial execution.
Experience
- Significant experience in business development, strategic account leadership, consulting, market access or commercial leadership roles within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare organisations.
- Demonstrable success developing senior client relationships and growing strategic accounts across global, European and/or multi-country environments.
- Strong understanding of market access, pricing, HEOR, evidence generation, HTA readiness, launch excellence and the broader access challenges faced by healthcare innovators.
- Experience leading or sponsoring complex, strategic pursuits and multi-stakeholder client engagements in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Experience coaching account teams and working collaboratively with senior technical experts to create and convert high-value opportunities.

LOCATION 🌍
Remote based role in UK or Europe (Hannover, Belgium, or Netherlands). Occasional travel to other Kintiga locations and client sites across Europe is required.
