Board Directors at SeedChange

We are once again seeking interested and qualified individuals as potential Board Directors at SeedChange.  Our current priorities include 1–2 Board Directors from Mesoamerica and/or South America who are actively engaged in agroecology and seed sovereignty, as well as one Board Director with investment and asset management expertise.  We are seeking strong affiliation with our mission - To build food sovereignty by working with partners to enhance biodiversity, promote ecological food systems, and counter inequity - and commitment to active board participation.

Ideally, new Board members from Central and/or South America will be highly integrated with the agroecology and micro-farming communities; and a potential Board member bringing investment expertise would provide an advantage if located in the Ottawa/National Capital region to facilitate communications with the Board Treasurer, Executive Director and Finance Director.

Note that we are committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.  However, due to limited administrative resources, including for translation, all of our materials are published in English and, as well, our committee and Board meetings are conducted in English.
