What you’ll achieve: 

The Business Development Representative is responsible for supporting lead generation, pipeline creation, meeting scheduling, qualification, CRM enhancement, and maintenance for multiple markets.  This includes qualifications of inbound leads and proactive creation of outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns.  This position is also responsible for supporting attendance for Outseer sponsored events and webinars.  


Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, building key customer relationships, and driving the early stages of the sales pipeline. As a Senior BDR, you will play a critical role in scaling revenue growth by generating high-quality leads, qualifying prospects, and collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams. 


Essential Duties

  • Proactively engage targeted accounts through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and events, using and maintaining the corporate database.
  • Conduct account and contact research to identify key buying teams, business needs, and decision-makers; add targeted prospects to the CRM.
  • Qualify and nurture both inbound and outbound leads, setting appointments for Account Executives or Sales Managers.
  • Leverage sales cadence platforms such as Lemlist to plan, execute, and track multi-touch outreach sequences.
  • Confidently handle objections and articulate Outseer’s value proposition to key decision-makers, aligning solutions with business needs.
  • Transfer qualified leads to Account Managers with detailed discovery notes, including buyer roles, pain points, use cases, transaction size, deployment preferences (cloud/on-prem), and competitive insights.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with the sales team through clear communication, strategic alignment, and shared accountability.
  • Drive prospect engagement and attendance for regional events, executive dinners, and other Sales and Marketing programs through targeted outreach, invitation campaigns, and follow-up.
  • Stay informed on all Outseer product offerings via self-paced training, product demos, team meetings, and marketing materials.
  • Monitor industry trends and maintain competitive intelligence on other vendor offerings and strategies.
  • Consistently meet or exceed Sales Accepted Lead and pipeline development targets set by management.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of prospecting strategies, outreach techniques, and campaign innovations.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams supporting Sales and Marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and seminars as needed.
  • Provide timely reporting on lead status, discovery sessions, pipeline progress, and outreach activity.
  • Maintain an accurate and organized CRM (e.g., Salesforce) with updated notes, activities, and prospect information.
  • Analyze team and individual performance metrics to identify trends, improve conversion rates, and optimize outreach processes.



Desired Requirements

  • BA or equivalent experience in Marketing & Business.
  • 4+ years’ experience with customer service, inbound and outbound tele sales, or market development activities.
  • Very good working knowledge with Microsoft products.
  • Ability to translate technical information into easy-to-understand language for customers.
  • Ability to learn product offerings.
  • Proven ability to network and research competitors and clients.
  • Proficient with CRM and sales engagement platforms, such as Salesforce, Lemlist, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Proficiency using AI-powered tools to support prospect research, account intelligence, outreach personalization, messaging, and day-to-day productivity.
