About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our growing business and support the finance function across accounting, reporting, planning, and finance systems improvement. 

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and the wider management team, the successful candidate will support the delivery of financial information, month-end activities, budgeting and forecasting processes, group consolidation activities, and ongoing improvements to finance systems, processes, and controls.

Key Responsibilities 

• Actively participate in month-end and year-end close activities, including journal postings, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and financial analysis. 
• Contribute to the preparation of management reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. 
• Prepare ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support management decision-making. 
• Analyse financial performance and trends, providing meaningful insights and conclusions. 
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, and investigate and resolve outstanding items. 
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities. 
• Assist with group consolidation activities and group-level reporting. 
• Support the implementation, enhancement, and optimisation of ERP and finance systems, including system testing, process design, and continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Assist in the development and maintanance of reporting solutions and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. 
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve finance processes, internal controls, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 
• Carry out operational accounting activities and contribute to process automation and efficiency improvements. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to provide financial analysis and support informed decision-making. 

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 
• 7+ years of proven experience in accounting, financial reporting, and finance operations. 
• Knowledge of IFRS. 
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. 
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, finance transformation initiatives, or finance system enhancement projects. 
• Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset. 
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. 
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI would be highly advantageous. 
• A professional accounting qualification would be an advantage. 
• Experience working within a multi-entity and international environment would be beneficial.
