About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About the Role

Salesforce Professional Services is evolving how we deliver world-class value to our customers. Our overall business strategy is anchored in rigorous market research, data-driven analysis, and high-impact executive communication.

We are seeking an analytical, insight-driven Sr Manager/Director of Strategy. In this role, you will lead deep-dive research, conduct quantitative and qualitative market analysis, and synthesize complex findings into compelling, executive-ready presentations that shape our global Professional Services strategy.

You will serve as a core strategic advisor, transforming raw market and operational data into clear strategic options and C-suite deliverables, partnering directly with senior leadership to guide critical investment and operational decisions across our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Research & Market Intelligence: Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis, industry benchmarking, and market research to identify growth opportunities and strategic risks across the Professional Services landscape.
  • Perform Advanced Quantitative Analysis: Partner with analytics teams to model business scenarios, evaluate financial metrics, and derive actionable insights from complex datasets to support core strategic initiatives.
  • Craft C-Suite Executive Presentations: Synthesize complex analytical findings, strategic choices, and trade-offs into polished, executive-level slide decks and narratives for senior leadership and executive offsites.
  • Evaluate AI Strategy & Innovation: Utilize advanced AI analytical tools to accelerate research frameworks, model AI delivery impacts, and evaluate the strategic positioning of AI-augmented professional services.
  • Align Cross-Functional Stakeholders: Facilitate strategic reviews with leaders across Sales, Operations, Pricing, and Regional Units (AMERS, EMEA, APAC) to build consensus around research-backed strategy recommendations.
  • Direct Strategic Analysts & Modeling: Guide and mentor a dedicated team of Strategic Analysts in running robust data models, tracking strategic metrics, and maintaining high standards for strategic storytelling assets.
  • Maintain Business Strategy Alignment: Continuously refresh and refine the overarching Professional Services strategy documentation, ensuring tight alignment with corporate V2MOM goals and market changes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in Strategy, Transformation Design, Operations, or Management Consulting. Experience within a Global Professional Services or SaaS business is required.
  • Analytical & Quantitative Rigor: Advanced capability to structure complex strategic problems, analyze multidimensional business data, and build quantitative strategy models.
  • Executive Storytelling & Presentation: Proven track record of creating high-impact executive decks and communicating strategic narratives to C-suite and executive audiences.
  • AI Fluency: High comfort level using AI tools in your professional day-to-day work to optimize your own workflows, accelerate research, and scale content creation.
  • Education & Equivalence: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field OR equivalent practical experience. We prioritize demonstrated capability, strategic execution, and real-world impact over formal credentials alone.
