Key tasks include marketing products to decision-makers, collaborating with architects and designers, and delivering sales proposals and presentations.
About the role:
KI is seeking a Sales Specialist to join our Florida sales team. Ideal candidates will reside in the Miami-Dade County and work of their home office.
In this role, you will call on KI’s core markets including Higher Education, K-12, Commercial, Healthcare and State and Local Government. You will engage with end users, architects and designers, dealers, general contractors, and real estate developers to identify opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and grow market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Call on decision makers and end users to market KI products.
- Work closely with influential architects and designers to increase KI awareness and consideration in targeted building and renovation projects.
- Create presentations and sales proposals, adjusting content for client and market needs.
- Facilitate “lunch and learns” with clients.
- Engage clients making recommendations on new and current products and services.
- Understand competitor products and strategies to best leverage KI products and services with clients.
Who you are:
- Possess a competitive spirit!
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree. However, experience is prioritized over academics.
- Previous sales or design experience in the commercial furniture or similar industry (preferred).
- Existing relationships with architects, designers, dealers and end users will be helpful.
- Experience in Salesforce or a similar CRM tool.
- Structured and independent work style.
- High degree of self-initiative.
