About the job
The Sales Operations Manager serves as the day-to-day execution partner to the Head of Sales Operations, translating commercial priorities into reliable systems, data, workflows, and cross-functional execution across every sales channel (DTC, wholesale, corporate/customization, marketplaces, and key accounts).
The right candidate combines systems aptitude with strong operational judgment. They are comfortable moving between supporting an ERP implementation, a fulfillment exception, a product-launch checklist, a ticketing automation, a pricing audit, and trade-show logistics—while maintaining accuracy, ownership, and follow-through.
As part of a lean, growing company, this role also includes hands-on administrative and coordination responsibilities. The successful candidate must be comfortable balancing strategic projects and systems work with the detailed day-to-day tasks required to keep operations organized and moving forward.
What you'll own
- Systems Administration & Tech Stack: Oversee day-to-day administration, integrations, and performance for ERP, Shopify, 3PL platforms, customer service tools, marketplaces, and reporting systems.
- Technical Requirements & Testing: Translate business needs into user stories, process maps, and data mappings. Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), defect tracking, and release readiness with developers and vendors.
- Troubleshooting & Documentation: Investigate workflow and data failures to resolution while maintaining comprehensive integration maps and SOPs.
- Omnichannel Data Governance: Manage SKU setup, product attributes, pricing, tags, and fulfillment logic across all channels to ensure cross-platform data integrity.
- GTM & Launch Orchestration: Act as operational liaison for go-to-market execution, aligning cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Fulfillment) on timelines, dependencies, and launch readiness.
- Sales & Channel Enablement: Equip sales reps and external retail partners with price sheets, collateral, samples, assets, and product data.
- Fulfillment & Warehouse Operations: Coordinate daily operations with 3PLs and warehouses, actively tracking aging orders, inventory discrepancies, transfers, and shipping exceptions.
- Customer Experience Optimization: Administer CS ticketing systems, live chat, routing rules, and automated workflows.
- Trade Show & Event Logistics: Support full-scope event operations with the Sales Director, including booth service orders, budget tracking, freight delivery, material handling, and storage.
