The ASMALLWORLD Group

Centred around the ASMALLWORLD social network, the company operates a luxury travel ecosystem that serves discerning travellers and industry partners. At its core, ASMALLWORLD is the trusted membership community for modern luxury travellers, offering a platform to connect, share experiences and enjoy a wealth of travel privileges, including access to elite statuses and loyalty programme currencies, as well as over 900 coveted events around the world annually. Beyond the social network, the ASMALLWORLD Group extends into bespoke travel planning and VIP hotel bookings, concierge services, and strategic B2B collaborations.

Requirements

Role overview

Relevant candidates will have experience from other membership businesses, luxury, real estate, travel, hospitality, or other B2B backgrounds. The role will suit someone who can build and run a full sales cycle and close deals with discerning, high-value clients and the companies which serve them. It is a great fit for someone established in their sales career, who thrives in a fast-paced environment focused on luxury travel, who likes to work with clear targets and yet is at ease with defining and owning the framework to achieve those targets.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively prospect and generate new B2B business opportunities for sales and distribution of ASMALLWORLD’s products and services (paid memberships, VIP travel booking, concierge services etc.) through outbound outreach, calls, market research and networking.

• Own leads and proposals end-to-end through the CRM, from first contact to close.

• Prepare proposals and deliver sales pitches.

• Represent ASW on sales trips and networking events to build pipeline and visibility.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and corporate clients.

• Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Tech, Support, Finance) to ensure deals are activated smoothly.

• Track and report monthly sales activity, providing insights into pipeline performance.

• Maintain an updated CRM with accurate prospect data (companies, contacts etc.).

• Keep a pulse on market trends, competitor activity, and new partnership opportunities.

• Be an agent of your own success: continuously strive to exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organisation (as well as your own compensation).

Key requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in a direct B2B sales or business development role. Backgrounds in membership businesses, luxury travel, hospitality, real estate or media are strongly preferred.

• Sales mindset: Comfortable with outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and objection handling. Resilient, persistent, and motivated by hitting targets.

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but strong, demonstrable sales experience can substitute.

• Language: English - native or fully fluent (mandatory). Fluency in German or another European language is a plus.

• Communication: Confident, persuasive verbal and written communicator, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.

• Software: Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, Twenty etc.) and outreach tools (e.g. Apollo.io) is necessary.

• Organisation: Proactive and disciplined about systematic pipeline development, maintenance, follow-up, and reporting.

• Teamwork: Comfortable collaborating across Marketing, Tech, Support, and Finance teams.

Travel: Willing to travel to our Zurich HQ at least once a month.
