Job Title: Regional Computer Operations Support Analyst (COSA) T4

Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Security Clearance: Secret

DoD 8570/8140 Requirement: IAT Level II

Position Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be part of a team reporting to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and will perform daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of C2BMC systems in a 24/7 operations and test environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing first-level technical support to the warfighter.
  • Performing initial troubleshooting of local C2BMC hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Documenting and reporting all events and issues to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO).
  • Receiving tasking and direction from the CCC for operations, test, and real-world events.
  • Assisting with hardware and software installations as directed by local Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Creating and maintaining user accounts as directed by the local Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
  • Performing other duties and assignments as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Sound background and experience supporting the operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/network environments.
  • Sound background and experience in system and/or network administration, including UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco, and Juniper environments.
  • Sound background and experience troubleshooting hardware and software components.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with and knowledge of the C2BMC System or Missile Defense Systems.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance preferred.

Education and Experience

Entry-level to experienced candidate who is typically a learner with one of the following:

  • Advanced degree with 0–1+ years of experience;
  • Bachelor's degree with 0–3+ years of experience; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

The candidate solves problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity. Work is performed under close supervision while following established policies and procedures or under very general supervision. Contacts are primarily with the immediate supervisor and within the company or work group but may also include external contacts. Errors in judgment would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to correct.

Certification and Clearance Requirements

  • Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at the IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, or CISSP).
  • Candidate must maintain the required DoD 8140 certification for the duration of the contract.
  • Minimum active DoD Secret clearance required.

Work Schedule

This position requires rotating 24/7 shift work. Candidates will be assigned to a shift and an assignment (Operations or Training) based on mission requirements. Occasional substitute coverage on off-shifts, including nights and weekends, will be required as needed.
