Newly Enhanced, ED-Aligned Compensation

Carilion Clinic is investing in emergency psychiatry with a compensation structure designed to recognize the pace, acuity, and specialized clinical judgment required in the emergency department.

·      ED physician-aligned base rate: Higher base hourly compensation commensurate with Emergency Department physicians

·      Substantial shift differentials: Additional compensation for weekend and weeknight coverage

·      Flexible practice model: Position may include virtual telepsychiatry coverage, with additional hourly incentive for in-person emergency department coverage

Salary Range, $301,875.00.00 to $350,000.00

The posted salary range may not reflect the full value of the total compensation package. You are eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary.

Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary . In addition, comprehensive benefits and pension offerings further enhance the overall rewards package.
