Job Details: Salary Range: Undisclosed, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned. Levels of Authority and Decision Making are indicated as follows:
The Project Manager supports the design, launch, and operationalization of new business lines and technology programs that drive value for Polaris Pharmacy Services. This person helps take initiatives from concept to execution — working alongside the Director and cross-functional teams to build, launch, and hand off programs that run.
This is a hands-on execution role. The Manager supports coordination across Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Technology — helping drive projects forward, tracking milestones, and flagging risks before they become problems. A meaningful part of this role is partnering with IT on system implementations, integrations, and technology rollouts that support both new initiatives and existing operations.
Think of this as a builder-in-training role with real ownership. Each initiative has a business case, a build plan, and a measurable outcome. The Manager helps drive all three, working closely with internal teams and external partners/vendors.
Types of Initiatives This Role Will Support
Initiatives will vary by type and complexity. The Manager will be expected to engage across the following:
• New Service Line Support — Helping assess, design, and stand-up new business lines, including operational and contracting support
• Manufacturer Program Support — Supporting the launch and day-to-day management of specialty pharmacy programs with pharmaceutical manufacturer partners
• IT & Technology-Enabled Projects — Serving as a key project lead on technology initiatives: system implementations, integrations, workflow automation, and AI-enabled tools; partnering closely with IT on requirements, testing, rollout, and adoption
• Payor & Access Support — Assisting with programs that improve patient access through payor coordination, prior authorization workflows, or benefit design support
• Program Improvement Projects — Supporting the diagnosis and rebuilding of underperforming programs, and helping relaunch them at scale
