Role Overview
As a Project Consultant, you will deliver high-quality, needs-based exterior remodeling solutions to homeowners. You will represent a trusted contractor, diagnose exterior needs, guide customers through repair and replacement options, and recommend solutions that combine craftsmanship, integrity, and value.
With company-generated, pre-set appointments and multiple customer meetings each day, you will have strong lead-generation support and the opportunity to focus on consultation, relationship building, and closing sales while meeting homeowners’ needs for flexibility and timeliness.
You will be part of a very collaborative, very agile team working collectively to fulfill our mission of saving our communities from unscrupulous contractors. Key Responsibilities
- Run pre-set customer appointments provided by the company.
- Perform thorough rooftop inspections when safe access is possible and attic inspections when feasible to evaluate ventilation and potential damage.
- Educate homeowners on roofing solutions, applicable insurance processes, and product options.
- Present detailed estimates and financing or payment options, negotiate solutions, and close sales.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation after a job is sold.
- Mark up inspection photos to help the production team plan projects accurately.
- Maintain communication with customers and internal teams throughout the job lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in construction or home improvement, ideally with subject-matter expertise in the residential building envelope.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
- Relatable and effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong understanding of project estimation and specification processes.
- Demonstrated personal and professional integrity.
