You will define the vision and strategy for a new AI-native HR platform, taking it from zero to MVP. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting customer research, and managing the product lifecycle to ensure it meets global compliance and operational needs.
Kleos helps companies hire, pay and manage people anywhere in the world. We run two products in production: Global Employment and Contractor Payments.
Our third core product is the Global AI HR Platform: AI-native HR management that is compliance-aware by design and built to act, not just to store records. It doesn't exist yet. You will be the first person on the HRM squad and will define it from zero.
This is a 0→1 role. You'll own the product vision, the first MVP and the path to it becoming a standalone HR platform.
Own the HRM vision and strategy. Turn "built to act, not just to store records" into a concrete product: what it does, for whom, and why it beats existing global HR platforms and classic HRIS tools.
Build on what we already have. Use EoR, CoR/AoR data and the shared infrastructure as the foundation: one workforce view across employees and contractors.
Define the "active" layer. Design AI-driven alerts, recommendations and automated actions: contract and probation dates, visa and permit expiry, misclassification risk, onboarding and offboarding.
Ship the MVP. Write PRDs, prioritise the backlog and run delivery with design, frontend, backend and QA.
Talk to customers constantly. Interview HR leads, finance and founders at companies with distributed teams, and validate with existing EoR and contractor clients.
Work across the platform. Align with the EoR and Contractor Payments PMs, platform leads, compliance, sales and support on shared components and cross-sell (for example, contractor-to-EoR conversion).
Measure what matters. Set product metrics (activation, weekly active HR admins, actions completed, attach rate to EoR/CoR) and report on them.
5+ years in product management, with at least one B2B SaaS product taken from 0→1 to paying customers.
Hands-on experience with HR tech: HRIS, HRM, EoR, payroll, workforce management or similar.
Experience shipping AI or LLM-powered features in production, and a clear view of where AI adds real value versus hype.
Understanding of global employment: contracts, compliance across countries, contractor vs employee rules.
Strong discovery skills: you talk to customers weekly and turn what you hear into clear priorities.
Comfortable with data: you define metrics and can query or analyse product data yourself.
Ownership mindset: you're comfortable being the only PM on a new product with lots of ambiguity.
