AI Summary

Define and lead the B2B product adoption strategy for Acrobat, focusing on user journeys and value realization. Act as a cross-functional leader to align product, marketing, and analytics teams around cohesive growth initiatives.

The future of work is changing. Business professionals increasingly expect AI-powered experiences that help them move faster from information to insight, collaboration, and creation.

Acrobat is evolving with them—from the world’s leading document solution into an AI-powered business productivity platform spanning document analysis and insights, collaboration, and content creation. This evolution requires us to rethink product adoption: not simply driving usage of individual features, but changing how business professionals perceive Acrobat, helping them discover new value, and intentionally moving them from one high-value job to the next until Acrobat becomes an essential part of how they work.

We’re looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to define and lead the B2B product adoption strategy across Acrobat Studio and Acrobat Express. You’ll deeply understand business professionals, the jobs they’re trying to accomplish, and the moments that create value—then translate those insights into product experiences, messaging, and action sequences that move users from their initial intent to the most relevant next action, building repeat usage across document analysis, collaboration, and content creation.

This highly cross-functional role sits at the intersection of Product, Product-Led Growth (PLG), Lifecycle Marketing, Campaign, Analytics, Research, Customer Success, and Product Marketing. You’ll bring these teams together around a cohesive adoption strategy across in-product experiences and customer touchpoints.

More importantly, you’ll help shape where Acrobat goes next—combining user understanding, behavioral data, experimentation, and market insight to uncover growth opportunities, influence product priorities, and ensure major investments are grounded in the evolving needs of business professionals.

What You’ll Own

Define the B2B Adoption Strategy & User Journey

  • Set the end-to-end adoption strategy for Acrobat’s business professionals, connecting activation, value engagement, and repeat usage.

  • Define the highest-value jobs to be done, user intents, value moments, and adoption pathways.

  • Architect the journey from a user’s initial intent to adjacent, higher-value jobs, defining the right sequence of experiences, messages, recommendations, and calls to action.

  • Identify friction and unmet needs across product and customer touchpoints, partnering with Product and PLG to accelerate time-to-value and build deeper, more habitual usage.

  • Establish clear hypotheses, success metrics, and leading indicators for adoption and value realization.

Turn Customer & Data Intelligence into Growth

  • Build a deep understanding of business professionals through qualitative research, behavioral data, segmentation, experimentation, and customer feedback.

  • Synthesize signals into actionable insights about who our users are, what they are trying to accomplish, where they struggle, and what will unlock greater value.

  • Identify high-potential segments, behaviors, and product adjacencies that can unlock incremental adoption and growth.

  • Build a disciplined test-and-learn agenda with Product, PLG, Lifecycle, Analytics, and Research to validate hypotheses and optimize the adoption journey.

  • Turn experimentation and behavioral insights into repeatable adoption strategies that scale across audiences, use cases, and Acrobat experiences.

Influence the Product Roadmap

  • Serve as the voice of the business professional in product strategy and roadmap discussions.

  • Translate user needs, adoption barriers, behavioral insights, and market shifts into clear product opportunities.

  • Assess experiences end-to-end—not simply individual features—to identify product changes that can materially improve value realization and engagement.

  • Develop evidence-backed recommendations that influence prioritization and major product investments.

Create a Cohesive Value Story

  • Define the messaging architecture that connects Acrobat’s expanding capabilities to the jobs and outcomes that matter most to business professionals.

  • Translate complex AI-powered capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions that drive discovery, activation, and repeat usage.

  • Ensure users encounter consistent, contextual messaging and calls to action across product, lifecycle, campaign, and customer experiences.

  • Partner with segment and solution PMMs to evolve the perception of Acrobat from a document utility to an everyday destination for business productivity.

Lead Through Influence

  • Act as the strategic connective tissue across Product, PLG, Lifecycle, Campaign, Analytics, Research, Customer Success, and Product Marketing.

  • Align senior team members around the highest-impact adoption opportunities, priorities, and measures of success.

  • Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous, cross-functional problems and mobilize teams around a shared strategy.

  • Develop frameworks, insights, and procedures that elevate product adoption strategy across the broader Acrobat organization.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Growth, Product Management, or a related field, with significant experience in B2B SaaS or productivity software.

  • A track record of defining and driving product adoption, engagement, or growth strategies for complex products with multiple use cases.

  • Deep customer orientation and expertise translating qualitative and quantitative insights into product and go-to-market strategy.

  • Solid understanding of product-led growth, lifecycle journeys, experimentation, segmentation, and behavioral analytics.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmaps and senior team members without direct authority.

  • Exceptional critical thinking paired with a bias toward execution—you can move fluidly from defining a multi-year opportunity to diagnosing a specific point of friction in a user journey.

  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to turn complexity into a simple, compelling narrative.

  • Experience operating across highly matrixed organizations and aligning diverse teams around a common customer and business outcome.

  • Curiosity about AI and a strong point of view on how generative AI is reshaping knowledge work, collaboration, and business productivity.

  • BA/BS degree Preferred OR 10+ years of Marketing OR equivalent practical experience

What Success Looks Like

You will help establish a new model for how Acrobat grows: not through adoption of isolated features, but by helping business professionals continuously discover and realize new value.

Success means more users reaching value faster, progressing from one high-value job to the next, adopting a broader set of Acrobat capabilities, and ultimately seeing Acrobat as an everyday destination for understanding information, collaborating on work, and creating content.

And your work will do more than drive adoption—it will help shape the experiences, investments, and product strategy that define the next chapter of Acrobat.
