What You’ll Do
Recruitment
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for some roles, from workforce planning and sourcing through to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Proactively identify, engage, and secure high-calibre talent, building strong candidate relationships throughout the hiring journey.
- Partner closely with leadership to understand current and future hiring needs, ensuring recruitment plans align with business growth.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and future roles, enabling the business to scale efficiently and reducing time-to-hire.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experience to ensure Bolt6 remains competitive in attracting top talent.
- Monitor hiring metrics and provide regular insights and recommendations to support informed hiring decisions.
Health & Safety
- Take ownership of Bolt6's health and safety programme, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Work with our external partner to develop, maintain, and continuously improve health and safety policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture across the business through training, communication, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Work with our leadership team to investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, ensuring appropriate reporting and preventative measures are implemented.
- Act as the primary point of contact for health and safety matters.
Business Administration
- Coordinate company events, team socials, and employee engagement initiatives, helping to foster a positive and inclusive culture.
- Support day-to-day business operations through the effective management of administrative processes and documentation.
- Assist with office management, supplier coordination, and general operational support as required.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Provide flexible support across the business, taking ownership of ad hoc administrative and operational projects as they arise.
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrable experience in recruitment, operations, administration, or a similar coordination role.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with candidates, employees, and external stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to identify problems and take ownership of solutions without requiring constant direction.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where responsibilities may evolve over time.
- Strong judgement and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- A positive, professional, and collaborative approach, with a willingness to support colleagues across all areas of the business.
- A genuine enthusiasm for creating a positive employee and candidate experience.
Nice to Haves
- Experience supporting recruitment and talent acquisition activities, including sourcing, screening, and candidate management.
- Previous experience working within a startup, scale-up, or high-growth business environment.
- Knowledge of UK health and safety requirements and experience supporting compliance activities.
- Experience coordinating company events, employee engagement initiatives, or internal communications.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities to use AI, automation, and technology to enhance efficiency.
- Comfortable analysing information and presenting recommendations to support business decision-making.
Location
We offer flexible working arrangements, with the option to work remotely or from any of our offices in Winchester and London.
