We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end bookkeeping and finance processes for over 20 clients. Your expertise in process improvement, onboarding, and clean-up will be crucial in ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations. Responsibilities: • Oversee comprehensive bookkeeping and finance processes including invoicing, bill-pay, payroll processing, monthly close, sales tax, and year-end preparation for 20+ clients. • Drive process improvements and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Conduct client onboarding and clean-up activities to ensure smooth integration and transition of financial processes. • Utilize QuickBooks Online (QBO), Gusto, and other relevant financial software to manage client accounts. • Apply strong accrual accounting knowledge to maintain accurate financial records. • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in running payroll, closing monthly books, and creating processes for both cash and accrual-basis clients. • At least 2 years of experience using QuickBooks Online (QBO), Gusto, and similar platforms. • Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles. • Experience working in a CPA firm or public accounting is a plus. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 yearly
