Partner Success Manager – German-speaking

Location:
Remote in Europe
Language requirement: Fluent German and English
Employment type: Contractor

About Virtuozzo

Virtuozzo is a leader in infrastructure system software for AI. We provide an optimized operating system,  orchestration, virtualization, storage, and management technologies to service providers, SaaS companies, and enterprises. Our technology helps customers build, monetize, and operate cloud services on their own infrastructure, under their own brand, and on their own terms.

The Opportunity

Virtuozzo is looking for a German-speaking Partner Success Manager to grow and strengthen relationships with Cloud Service Providers, Managed Service Providers, hosting companies, and infrastructure partners across the DACH region and wider Europe.

This role sits at the intersection of customer success, account growth, partner management, and commercial strategy. You will take ownership of a portfolio of existing partners, helping them achieve stronger adoption, greater commercial success, and long-term value from Virtuozzo technologies.

Your goal will not simply be to maintain relationships. You will understand each partner’s business model, technical environment, growth priorities, and market challenges, then work with them to improve adoption, increase revenue, reduce churn risk, and identify opportunities for expansion. You will serve as the main commercial and relationship point of contact for your assigned partners while coordinating closely with Technical Account Management, Support, Sales Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Finance.

What You Will Do

  • Own and develop relationships with German-speaking partners across the DACH region and wider Europe.
  • Build a strong understanding of each partner’s business model, customer base, service portfolio, infrastructure environment, and commercial objectives.
  • Develop and execute structured partner growth plans focused on retention, adoption, upsell, and cross-sell.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the use of Virtuozzo products, services, capacity, and platform capabilities.
  • Manage renewals and support commercial discussions related to contract scope, product usage, and future growth.
  • Monitor partner health, satisfaction, engagement, usage, revenue performance, and churn risk.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and QBRs with partner stakeholders.
  • Ensure partners understand the value, roadmap, and commercial opportunities available across the Virtuozzo product portfolio.
  • Support partner onboarding, product adoption, new service launches, and expansion into additional environments or locations.
  • Coordinate complex partner needs across Technical Account Management, Support, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Ensure escalations are handled with clear ownership, communication, and follow-through.
  • Identify recurring commercial, operational, or product challenges and ensure the right internal teams are engaged.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, renewal information, opportunity tracking, and account plans in Salesforce.
  • Prepare regular reporting on partner activity, risks, opportunities, revenue, renewals, and next steps.
  • Bring structured partner feedback into Product, Marketing, and technical teams.
  • Support partners in strengthening their own cloud, hosting, infrastructure, or managed-service offerings.
  • Represent Virtuozzo professionally in partner meetings, virtual events, and industry discussions.

What This Role Is Not

This is not a reactive customer-service or support-coordination position. You will not simply wait for a partner to contact you or pass requests between teams. You will be expected to proactively understand the partner’s business, identify risks and opportunities, drive engagement, and create measurable commercial value. Your primary focus will be the growth, retention, and long-term success of existing partners.

What We Are Looking For

  • Fluent German and English, with the ability to lead commercial and strategic discussions in both languages.
  • 3+ years of experience in Partner Success, Customer Success, Account Management, Partner Management, or commercial relationship management.
  • Experience working with B2B technology products or services. A proactive, commercially minded approach to partner success.
  • Strong relationship-management and consultative-selling skills.
  • Demonstrated experience growing existing accounts through upsell, cross-sell, adoption, or service expansion.
  • Experience managing renewals, retention, and churn risk.
  • Confidence leading QBRs, account-planning discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Ability to understand a partner’s commercial model and connect product capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong ownership, organization, prioritization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across distributed technical and commercial teams.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems, forecasts, account plans, and structured reporting.

Strong Advantages

  • Experience working with Cloud Service Providers, Managed Service Providers, hosting providers, telecom companies, or infrastructure software vendors.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, virtualization, storage, Kubernetes, automation, or cloud management platforms.
  • Experience with infrastructure-software licensing, subscriptions, usage-based pricing, or service-provider commercial models.
  • Experience supporting partners that resell, operate, or build services on top of infrastructure technology.
  • Experience working with DACH customers or partners.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and structured account-management processes.
  • Experience working with both commercial and technical stakeholders.

What We Offer

  • Remote work from Europe (open to hiring contractors in Serbia, Turkey, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria etc.).
  • Flexible working hours.
  • High ownership and visibility.
  • A distributed international team.
  • Support for private medical insurance, depending on location.
  • Additional perks depending on country, location, residency, and seniority.
