PURPOSE
The Operations Manager oversees the daily management of the Church Planting Core Initiative, ensuring effective workflows, processes, and financial systems are in place. This role collaborates with the Director of Church Planting and the Senior Program Manager to implement church planting priorities and support the Church Planting Pathways outlined in the CRCNA 10-Year Church Planting Strategic Plan.
This position is full-time at 36 hours a week and offers a remote work schedule, an attractive benefits package including three weeks' vacation, retirement fund contribution, and more.
The starting salary for this position is $65,701/year USD or $68,384/year CAD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following
- Provide operational leadership for the Church Planting Core Initiative, overseeing logistics and technical support.
- Foster relationships with key partners as the primary liaison to support the Church Planting Core Initiative.
- Assist with the annual planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the initiative’s strategic goals.
- Manage financial administration and processing for the Church Planting Core Initiative, ensuring accuracy across budgets, invoices, reimbursements, expense reporting, contracts, and program services.
- Oversee operational systems and processes for Core Initiative metrics, including data collection and reporting for timely and accurate decision-making.
- Identify and lead improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness across the Church Planting Core Initiative.
- Manage the implementation of the Core Initiative communications strategy with the Director of Church Planting, Senior Program Manager, and MarCom Department.
- Provide the Donor Engagement and Advancement Teams with information needed to support fundraising efforts for the Church Planting Core Initiative.
- Participate on teams related to operations and provide support for church planting priorities within the CRCNA 10-Year Church Planting Strategic Plan.
- Perform such other duties as assigned by the Director of Church Planting.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE:
QUALIFICATIONS

- Professing membership in a Christian Reformed congregation, or of a church in communion with the CRCNA, and agreement with the doctrine of the church signified by signing a covenant statement.
- Intermediate knowledge of church planting in the missional context globally.
- A deserved reputation for integrity and trust when working in teams and independently.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate work across teams.
- Experience with project management technology and data systems.
- Proven ability to manage operational processes efficiently.
- Competence in financial management, including budget analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in verbal and written communication.
- Displays a mature awareness and engagement of cross-cultural sensitivities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, communications, or a related field is required.
- Intermediate experience in operational leadership, cross-functional coordination, and administration is required.
- Intermediate experience in church planting ministry is required; an emphasis in intercultural relations is an asset.
