Responsibilities

Serves as a liaison, at a senior level, between business units and the IT department in the design, development, implementation, maintenance and updates of business systems, programs and reports. Lead projects in support of business cases.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Serve as an IT liaison between IT and business units. Conduct interviews and perform analysis to determine business unit's needs.
  2. Function as a project lead, ensuring project plan is established, maintained and target dates are attained. Gather project requirements and create business case as necessary.
  3. Conduct preliminary investigation for all project requests. Review requirements, specifications, testing, support and training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives on projects.
  4. Troubleshoot systems and participate in root cause analysis and recommend process, procedure and system enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity for business units and IT. Develop and maintain systems audits and reports.
  5. Develop and maintain a security administration process and ensure that security protocols are in place. Assign roles to new users with the approval of business system owners.
  6. Ensure data integrity, including maintaining internal database files and tables. Manage the authenticity of the set up and current data. Develop and maintain an audit schedule and conduct data audits making sure information in system is current and correct at all times.
  7. Participate in the planning and implementation of processes, policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning, monitoring, maintenance and documentation is consistent with the goals, business requirements and industry best practices.
  8. Provide user training or ensure required training needs are met.
  9. Mentor and provide support to Business Analyst and IT support staff.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • Seven years' experience in an IT role. Experience designing and reviewing test cases. Experience with complete software development life cycle
  • Requires previous administration/build experience with MyEvolv electronic EHR systems

Additional Work Requirements

  • Local travel may be required.
