Join Centric Consulting – A Culture You’ll Love

At Centric Consulting, we've cultivated a unique approach to business.  Our business is built on three fundamental principles: Enjoy the people you work with, have fun, and do great work. These principles define our consulting model and have crafted one of the most vibrant cultures in the consulting industry – celebrating individuals, collaboration, and lifelong friendships.

The Microsoft-Led Account Growth Account Manager serves as the relationship leader and growth orchestrator for eligible accounts that begin their Centric relationship through a Microsoft project. The role establishes continuity after the first engagement, helps the client realize additional value from Microsoft investments, and creates pathways for Centric to support priorities beyond the original project.

Working across client stakeholders, Microsoft-focused teams, delivery leaders, Account Partners, Business Development, Service Offerings, Industry Verticals, and Operations, this Account Manager connects business needs with the right people, capabilities, and solutions. The role balances relationship development, delivery visibility, account operations, and intentional growth while protecting the client experience.

In this role, you will:

     Account Entry and Transition

  •  Engage early in the initial Microsoft project to understand the client’s goals, stakeholders, success measures, current environment, and longer-term priorities.
  • Partner with the project and delivery team to establish a smooth transition from project execution to ongoing account stewardship.

  • Create and maintain an account plan that captures relationships, business priorities, Microsoft landscape, active work, risks, and growth hypotheses.

    Microsoft Footprint Expansion Account

  • Identify follow-on opportunities related to the client’s Microsoft ecosystem, including additional business needs, adoption opportunities, governance, optimization, and complementary services.

  • Connect client needs with the appropriate Microsoft specialists and Centric capabilities.

  • Coordinate discovery conversations, solution shaping, and internal pursuit support while keeping the client’s desired outcomes at the center.

    Enterprise Relationship Development

  • Build trusted relationships with the initial sponsor and intentionally broaden the network to additional leaders, influencers, users, and decision-makers.

  • Develop an understanding of the client’s organization, strategic priorities, challenges, initiatives, and buying processes.

  • Create meaningful touchpoints that provide value between projects and strengthen Centric’s position as a trusted advisor.

    Cross-Centric Growth

  • Look beyond the Microsoft entry point to identify challenges that may be addressed through other Centric service offerings or industry capabilities.

  • Bring the right Account Partners, Business Developers, Service Offering leaders, and subject matter experts into client conversations at the appropriate time.

  • Maintain a balanced opportunity portfolio spanning Microsoft expansion and broader enterprise needs.

    Delivery, Operations, and Account Health

  • Maintain visibility into delivery quality, client satisfaction, team health, risks, financial performance, and commitments across the account.

  • Facilitate regular account team collaboration, clarify ownership, and ensure follow-through on client and internal actions.

  • Maintain accurate account, relationship, activity, and opportunity information in designated systems and processes.

  • Escalate concerns early and coordinate the right resources to protect client outcomes and the long-term relationship.

Who You Are:

  • Proven experience in account management, client services, consulting, business development, or a related relationship-led role.

  • Ability to build credibility with business and technology stakeholders and navigate a client organization beyond a single project team.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft’s business technology ecosystem and the ability to translate technical possibilities into client outcomes.

  • Strong discovery, communication, facilitation, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and opportunity-development skills.

  • Ability to coordinate across matrixed teams, clarify ownership, and lead through influence.

  • Business acumen, including comfort with account planning, pipeline management, delivery health, and financial performance.

  • Disciplined follow-through and experience maintaining accurate account and opportunity information.

This role is best suited for a connector and builder who can enter an account with a focused Microsoft mandate, earn trust through the first engagement, and thoughtfully expand the relationship without becoming overly transactional. Success requires curiosity, patience, commercial discipline, and a commitment to bringing the best of Centric to the client.
