The Sales Specialist is responsible for developing new business opportunities and growing market share for the MetalPrint product portfolio across North America. They serve as the primary commercial representative, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through installation while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Job Responsibility: Responsible for developing new business opportunities and growing market share for the Koenig & Bauer MetalPrint product portfolio throughout the assigned territory in North America. The MetalPrint Sales Specialist serves as the primary commercial representative for Koenig & Bauer's metal decorating solutions, providing consultative sales support from prospecting through installation while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The position works closely with Product Management, Engineering, Service, and the MetalPrint team in Europe to deliver complete solutions for metal packaging manufacturers.

Location: Remote with almost 50 – 70% travel should be located in the proximity of a major airport which allows frequent domestic and international travel to customer locations and Europe. As the corporate office is in Dallas, Texas, travel to Dallas will be required.
Standard Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; however, schedule will vary depending on business demands and may require some early morning travel or evenings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales: Demonstrates a consultative selling approach by understanding customer manufacturing challenges and aligning Koenig & Bauer MetalPrint solutions with operational, financial, and strategic objectives. Effectively communicates the value proposition of MetalPrint technology while building executive-level relationships throughout customer organizations.
Technical Knowledge: Maintains a strong understanding of:
Business Development
Customer Focus: Builds trusted advisor relationships with customers by providing responsive communication, technical guidance, and long-term partnership throughout the equipment lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Packaging, Printing Technology, or related discipline preferred. Equivalent industry experience will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Computer Skills: Computer literacy with basic knowledge of e-mail, internet navigation, word processing, spreadsheets, and other business system software and solid experience operating control systems, software, and hardware related to printing equipment. CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).
