Medical Affairs Clinician - AU

We are seeking an experienced and driven Medical Affairs Clinician to join our International Medical Affairs team, reporting to the Head of International Medical Affairs. This field-based role is responsible for increasing awareness and education of Evolus products, responding to unsolicited requests for medical and scientific information, and developing professional relationships with healthcare professionals and thought leaders across Australia. The role provides timely, accurate, unbiased and balanced product information and communicates relevant technical and scientific information to internal and external stakeholders.

Essential duties and responsibilities where you'll make the biggest impact…

• Disseminate scientific information and respond to clinical questions arising from unsolicited requests received from healthcare professionals.
• Educate healthcare professionals on clinical best practices through education and training programs.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with thought leaders and locally influential healthcare professionals.
• Maintain compliance with company standard operating procedures, training requirements and administrative documentation.
• Develop peer-level relationships with medical and scientific experts.
• Interpret and communicate relevant medical and scientific literature to internal and external audiences.
• Partner cross-functionally with sales teams by providing appropriate medical and scientific expertise.
• Provide scientific support and advice.
• Contribute to databases containing medical and scientific information regarding company products and relevant competitor products.
• Prepare and deliver scientific presentations and participate in panel discussions.
• Monitor scientific and clinical developments in the therapeutic areas in which the company operates.
• Remote/field position – Home Office – Based in Australia, with frequent travel within the territory.
• Up to 60% travel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills You’ll Bring to the Team… 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Appropriate clinical qualification and current professional registration required to practise in Australia.
• 3+ years of clinical aesthetic experience.
• Demonstrated experience as an aesthetic injector.
• Strong knowledge of facial anatomy and aesthetic injection techniques.
• Experience working with healthcare professionals in the aesthetics field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
• Ability to adapt quickly and calmly to change.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in medical affairs, medical education or clinical training.
• Experience in the aesthetics, pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Established professional relationships within the Australian aesthetics community.
• Experience delivering scientific presentations to healthcare professionals.
