Lead Product Designer – German-speaking

This is a unique opportunity for a senior product designer who wants to combine hands-on product design with leadership. You'll take ownership of product design, branding, and the evolution of the design function, helping define how thousands of businesses experience the product—from their first interaction with the brand to their daily use of the platform.

As a Senior Individual Contributor with leadership ambitions, you'll remain deeply involved in design while helping build and shape the Design Team.

Working closely with Product Engineering, Engineering, and the founders, you'll influence product strategy, customer experience, and brand development in a fast-moving environment with short decision-making cycles.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Spend approximately half of your time on hands-on product design, customer research, and brand development.
• Own the user experience across three core product areas in close collaboration with Product Engineering.
• Shape and evolve the company's brand together with the Staff Designer.
• Lead and develop the Design Team across Product Design, Branding, and Web Experience.
• Regularly speak with customers to understand their workflows and translate insights into product decisions.
• Establish design systems, interaction patterns, and quality standards across product, web, and brand.
• Collaborate directly with Engineering and the founders in a highly iterative environment with rapid product releases.
• Help define the long-term design vision as the company continues to scale internationally.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has extensive experience designing digital products, ideally within B2B SaaS environments.
• Combines strong product intuition with analytics and customer insights to make design decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions.
• Has significant experience conducting customer interviews and translating research into product improvements.
• Has experience building and scaling design systems across multiple products or product areas.
• Enjoys simplifying complexity through thoughtful, intuitive design.
• Is a senior individual contributor with leadership ambitions and is excited to help grow a design organization while remaining highly hands-on.
• Uses modern AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, v0, or similar to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and design workflows.
• Speaks native-level German and communicates confidently in English.
