Following the expansion of our US footprint with the acquisition of a new commercial-scale viral vector facility in Durham, North Carolina we have some new opportunities to join us.

We’re currently recruiting for a Inside Sales Representative to join our Business Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and supporting revenue growth for OXB’s CDMO services , playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

 

Your responsibilities in this role would be to:

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, inbound enquiries, marketing campaigns, referrals, and industry events.
  • Identify and engage biotech and pharmaceutical companies with CDMO service requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients and understand their development, manufacturing, and commercial needs.
  • Qualify opportunities by assessing project requirements, timelines, decision-makers, and fit with company capabilities.
  • Coordinate introductory meetings between prospective clients and Business Development Directors to support pipeline progression.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity pipelines, forecasting, and sales activity reporting.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams on lead generation initiatives, industry events, and market intelligence to drive business growth.

 

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of inside sales, business development, lead generation, or account development experience.
  • Experience within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, CRO, or CDMO industry.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate customer needs into commercial opportunities.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.
