We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Payroll Analyst for a permanent hybrid role. This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for payroll operations and analysis. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our Manufacturing company, where they will be responsible for managing complex payroll processes, implementing enhancements, and driving efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of payroll processing and configuration, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with multi-state regulations.
  • Implement payroll enhancements to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the system meets the needs of the business.
  • Conduct thorough payroll analysis, providing insights and recommendations that support business decision-making.
  • Manage multi-state payroll operations, staying up-to-date with changing regulations and ensuring compliance across all states.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and provide relevant reports as needed.
  • Lead payroll implementation projects, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff on payroll processes and systems.
  • Continually review and update payroll policies and procedures to reflect changes in company policies or state/federal laws.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to any payroll-related inquiries from employees or management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in payroll, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, configuration, and enhancement.
  • Proven experience in multi-state payroll operations and compliance.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex payroll data.
  • Solid project management skills, with a track record of successful payroll implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is preferred.
