You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for clinical and administrative AI offerings, from user discovery and specification development to feature launch. You will collaborate with engineering and clinical teams to ensure AI accuracy and compliance with European medical software regulations.
Languages Required: Professional German (C1) & English (C1)
About the Role & Mission
Our mission is clear and focused: eradicate heavy administrative burdens for psychotherapists through intelligent AI capabilities, reclaiming valuable clinical hours for patient care. As our inaugural Technical Product Manager, you will take total ownership of our core clinical and administrative AI offerings starting day one. Operating fully remote from within Germany, you will be positioned at the convergence of advanced LLM technology, daily mental health care, and European medical software regulations (EU MDR). Collaborating with our co-founders, CTO, clinical advisors, and product design team, you will drive customer discovery, write clear specifications, establish evaluation criteria, and take capabilities from initial vision to live release.
What You Will Do
Drive End-to-End Ownership: Own user discovery, specification development, feature prioritization, and delivery across clinical and administrative product lines in a remote setup.
Guide Product Strategy: Establish and articulate our product roadmap, evaluating trade-offs between continuous product enhancements and new strategic initiatives.
Uncover Deep User Needs: Meet directly with therapy professionals via remote interviews, shadowing, and workflow analysis to translate complex clinical needs into structured product specifications.
Build AI Benchmarks: Team up with engineering and clinical teams to establish concrete accuracy standards for AI-generated documentation, translating these into robust prompt designs and evaluation suites.
Draft Technical Specs & Prototypes: Write clear specifications and edge-case models; use modern AI tools to rapidly prototype concepts independently without waiting for engineering availability.
Embed Compliance (EU MDR): Build regulatory standards (SaMD / EU MDR) directly into early product designs, integrating risk management and clinical reviews into your core workflow.
Launch & Refine: Work alongside go-to-market teams to release new capabilities, tracking real-world adoption metrics and iterating rapidly based on user feedback.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Haves
Experience: 4+ years of B2B Product Management experience, specifically where success relied on solving deep product complexities rather than routine administrative coordination.
Regulated Sector Mastery: Solid experience building software inside high-stakes domains (e.g., HealthTech, MedTech, or heavily regulated sectors). You know how to align strict regulatory rules (EU MDR), specialist user expectations, rigorous quality criteria, and technical AI capabilities.
Practical LLM Knowledge: Solid grasp of prompt engineering, model boundaries, evaluation frameworks, and what it takes to launch production AI features reliably.
Clear Written Communication: Capability to write unambiguous specifications, decision documents, and problem briefs asynchronously.
Hands-on Execution: A pragmatic approach to writing specs, building evaluation tests, and personally verifying clinical outputs.
Language Proficiency: Professional German (C1) and English (C1) skills.
Location: Residence in Germany for full-time remote employment.
Nice-to-Haves
Direct exposure to digital health software or certified medical devices (EU MDR, IEC 62304).
Background or foundational knowledge in psychology, mental health care, or clinical practice.
Experience scaling generative AI features or building evaluation systems for production models.
Early-stage experience as a founding product manager or establishing 0-to-1 product frameworks.
Core Values & Mindset
Empathy: We build software with deep respect for mental health practitioners, ensuring our tools simplify workflows instead of adding operational friction.
Trust: We maintain absolute integrity regarding data security, patient privacy, and team transparency.
Quality: We prioritize technical precision and medical rigor over flashy trends—our tools must reliably support clinical practice.
Autonomy: High initiative, accountability, and self-direction in an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
What We Offer
High-Impact Role: Collaborate directly with our co-founders and CTO as our inaugural PM, directly steering core product strategy.
Purpose-Driven Work: Reduce therapist burnout by automating heavy documentation workloads.
Rapid Professional Growth: Work at the cutting edge of LLM applications, clinical research, and medical device compliance.
Agile Execution: Fast-moving environment where ideas transform into live production features within days.
Flexible Working: Fully remote setup in Germany, 28 annual vacation days, competitive base salary (€60,000 – €90,000), and equity.
