You will lead the end-to-end development of clinical and administrative AI software, defining product strategy and technical specifications. You will collaborate with engineers and clinical researchers to build AI benchmarks and ensure compliance with European medical software regulations.
Languages Required: Professional German (C1) & English (C1)
About the Role & Mission
Our objective is direct: remove repetitive administrative work from therapists' daily routines using intelligent AI solutions, giving back vital hours for patient treatment. As our founding Technical Product Manager, you will assume end-to-end accountability over our central clinical and administrative AI product suite from day one. Operating 100% remotely within Germany, your work lands right at the intersection of state-of-the-art LLMs, real-world therapeutic workflows, and European medical software regulations (EU MDR). Working alongside our co-founders, CTO, clinical researchers, and design team, you will lead discovery, author technical specs, define AI accuracy metrics, and guide brand-new features from concept to production.
What You Will Do
Drive End-to-End Ownership: Direct discovery, specification development, feature prioritization, and launch activities for clinical and administrative software tools across a remote setup.
Guide Product Strategy: Define and communicate our product roadmap, managing trade-offs between current system enhancements and new product bets.
Uncover Deep User Needs: Connect directly with practitioners via remote interviews, shadowing sessions, and workflow observations to translate complex user challenges into executable specifications.
Build AI Benchmarks: Partner with software engineers and clinical researchers to define clear accuracy standards for AI-generated documentation, translating these into prompt frameworks and evaluation suites.
Draft Technical Specs & Prototypes: Write clear specifications and edge-case operational models; use modern AI tools to rapidly build independent product prototypes without relying solely on engineering bandwidth.
Embed Compliance (EU MDR): Incorporate regulatory standards (SaMD / EU MDR) directly into early product designs, aligning risk management and clinical reviews with your core workflow.
Launch & Refine: Partner with go-to-market teams to launch new software capabilities, measuring real-world adoption and iterating quickly based on user feedback.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Haves
Experience: 4+ years of B2B Product Management experience, specifically where success depended on solving deep product complexities over general project management.
Regulated Sector Mastery: Practical experience delivering software within high-stakes sectors (e.g., HealthTech, MedTech, or heavily regulated domains). You know how to harmonize strict regulatory constraints (EU MDR), specialist user expectations, rigorous quality standards, and technical AI possibilities.
Practical LLM Knowledge: Understanding of prompt engineering, model limitations, evaluation frameworks, and what it takes to bring AI features reliably into production environments.
Clear Written Communication: Ability to write unambiguous specs, decision memos, and problem statements asynchronously.
Hands-on Execution: A proactive approach to drafting specs, creating test suites, and personally validating clinical outputs.
Language Proficiency: Professional German (C1) and English (C1) skills.
Location: Based in Germany for full-time remote employment.
Nice-to-Haves
Direct exposure to digital health software or medical devices (EU MDR, IEC 62304).
Background or foundational knowledge in psychology, mental health, or clinical practice.
Experience scaling generative AI features or building evaluations for production models.
Early-stage experience as a founding product manager or establishing 0-to-1 product development processes.
Core Values & Mindset
Empathy: We build with deep respect for those who help others, ensuring our technology simplifies workflows instead of adding friction.
Trust: We maintain absolute integrity regarding data security, patient privacy, and team transparency.
Quality: We prioritize technical precision and medical rigor over flashy gimmicks—our tools must reliably support clinical practice.
Autonomy: High initiative, accountability, and self-direction in an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
What We Offer
High-Impact Role: Partner directly with the founders and CTO as our very first PM, steering the direction of core products.
Purpose-Driven Work: Directly lower therapist burnout by streamlining heavy administrative routines.
Rapid Professional Growth: Work at the cutting edge of LLMs, clinical research, and medical regulation.
Agile Execution: Fast-paced environment where ideas convert to live production features within days.
Flexible Working: Fully remote work setup within Germany, 28 vacation days, competitive salary (€60,000 – €90,000), and a generous equity share.
