This role works closely with program leadership, finance, control account managers, and scheduling teams to track program cost, schedule, and performance, and to support ongoing and future audits. The position is fully remote and follows a 9/80 work schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Program Manager, Finance team, Control Account Managers (CAMs), and Scheduling functions to support Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes for the ASARS-2B Production program.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly reports of earned value metrics, including cost and schedule performance, and clearly explain variances to stakeholders.
  • Train program team members on EVMS and related EVM processes as needed to ensure consistent and accurate application across the program.
  • Utilize SAP, PMX, and EDIT+ systems and tools to gather, validate, and analyze financial and program performance data.
  • Develop and submit monthly Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Reports (IPMDARs) to the external government customer within the required +17 business day timeframe.
  • Assemble the Contract Performance Dataset (CPD) in JSON format, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with government reporting requirements.
  • Prepare Performance Narrative Reports, including Executive Summary and Detailed Analysis, that clearly communicate program status, trends, and key issues.
  • Support ongoing and future audits by maintaining accurate documentation, responding to audit inquiries, and providing supporting data and analysis.
  • Enter data from source documents into computer systems or onto tape or disk for subsequent entry, using a keyboard or scanning device, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Record financial transactions and other account information to update and maintain accounting records and ensure they reflect current program status.
  • Resolve billing or service complaints in a professional manner and refer grievances to designated departments for further investigation when necessary.
  • Track whether the government contract program is on budget, on schedule, performing as planned, and meeting all required government reporting standards.
  • Provide customer service support related to financial and reporting inquiries, ensuring clear, timely, and courteous communication.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience supporting Earned Value Management System (EVMS) activities on complex programs.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP for financial and program data management.
  • Proficiency with PMX and EDIT+ systems and tools used for program controls and reporting.
  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to record and maintain financial transactions and accounting records in a structured and organized manner.
  • Experience preparing formal reports and narratives for government or external customers, including performance summaries and detailed analyses.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation, communication, and presentation purposes.
  • Ability to resolve billing or service issues and coordinate with appropriate departments to address grievances.
  • Capability to track and assess program budget, schedule, and performance against established plans and reporting requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in a Program Finance or Program Controls Analyst role supporting government contract programs.
  • Familiarity with government reporting standards and formats, including CPD in JSON and narrative performance reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and schedule data.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and explaining financial and performance metrics.
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to manage inquiries and issues professionally in a remote environment.
Work Environment

This role operates in a fully remote work environment, allowing you to perform all responsibilities from a home office or another suitable remote location. The position follows a 9/80 schedule, providing a compressed workweek with an additional day off every other week. Work is primarily computer-based, using tools such as SAP, PMX, EDIT+, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications to manage data, prepare reports, and collaborate with program stakeholders through digital communication channels.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
