The Finance Manager will design and build pricing programs across B2C and B2B channels while developing financial reporting and operational analytics. They will partner cross-functionally to turn data into actionable business decisions and improve financial processes to support business scaling.
Cimpress Open excels at serving customers via third-party channels. We partner with companies that have strong customer relationships with end-customers who need mass-customized print products, and we actively pursue opportunities with digital design software partners and established e-commerce marketplace platforms.
Within this dynamic ecosystem, Cimpress Open is building the financial and pricing engine for our commercial business spanning these B2C marketplace sales (including Amazon) and B2B wholesale/white-label partnerships. We're looking for a Finance Manager to lead that build.
You'll operate with the speed and ownership of a startup, backed by the resources and structure of a public company. Expect to move between hands-on modeling and reporting one day, and shaping process and strategy the next. While this role utilizes foundational FP&A skills, it goes far beyond traditional reporting. You will often take the lead on complex commercial challenges, determining the right approach and building the analytical tools that let the business scale.
Design and build our pricing programs across B2C marketplace channels (e.g., Amazon) and B2B wholesale/white-label models — balancing customer economics, competitive positioning, and margin targets.
Build competitive intelligence frameworks — price comparison and benchmarking models — that inform our pricing decisions and track where we stand across channels.
Develop financial reporting from the ground up: P&L, channel and product profitability, and management reporting packages that give leadership clear, timely visibility into the business.
Build our commercial and operational analytics — dashboards and tools that track unit economics, channel performance, and operational KPIs in real time.
Create and stress-test business cases for new products, channels, pricing changes, and investment decisions, including scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.
Own profitability by SKU, channel, and customer segment — spotting and acting on opportunities to improve margins.
Partner cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and product teams to turn data into decisions.
Take on new, unplanned analyses and projects as they come up. You'll often be handed a loosely-defined problem and be expected to run with it.
Improve the financial processes and systems that scale with the business, replacing manual workarounds with better tools and reporting as we grow.
At Cimpress, we are striving to hire individuals that add new ideas and perspectives to our teams and enhance our culture. No matter your background or work experience, we strongly encourage you to apply—even if you feel that you don’t meet the exact requirements or have the same qualifications. You might be a great candidate for this or other opportunities.
Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, coupled with 5+ years of finance experience, ideally within a startup or scaleup environment where you built frameworks from scratch.
Commercial & financial background: Proven experience in cross-functional business partnering, blending FP&A with strategic commercial operations.
Pricing experience in e-commerce, marketplace, or wholesale/distribution businesses; direct exposure to Amazon or other online marketplace economics is a strong plus.
Strong analytical and modeling skills — you're confident with financial modeling, unit economics, and building analysis from raw data (advanced Excel/Sheets required; SQL or BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI a plus).
Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach: A track record of turning ambiguous commercial problems into actionable P&L models and strategies without relying on an existing playbook.
Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
