The Employer Success Lead is a senior individual contributor within Reach University’s Growth  group, responsible for delivering reliable, high-quality support to employer partners while improving the systems and processes that support those relationships. You’ll connect relationships with systems, ensuring that employers experience clear communication, timely responses, and streamlined processes from onboarding through ongoing partnership growth and development.  

You’ll identify recurring employer needs, question, test, and refine improvements to our workflows, and translate partner feedback into scalable solutions that strengthen employee engagement and candidate success. Working closely with the Employer Success team and cross-functional partners, including Admissions, Academics, Registrar, Financial Aid, and Growth, etc., you will serve as a bridge between daily operations and system design. 

The Employer Success Lead combines empathy and precision — translating partner feedback into institutional improvements while modeling the clarity, reliability, and responsiveness that define Reach’s mission to turn jobs into degrees. 
  • Employer Support, Communication & Partner Growth (55%) 
    • Serve as the first point of contact for employer communications and questions, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and timely follow-up. Provide reliable, consistent communication that reflects Reach’s mission to turn jobs into degrees—helping employers understand their role in supporting candidates’ academic and professional success. 
    • Manage proactive outreach cycles—including onboarding, employment verification, recruitment planning, invoicing readiness, and satisfaction surveys—to ensure all employers are informed, responsive, and supported. 
    • Generate routine reports and dashboards to support team visibility, data-driven decisions, and proactive communication with employers. 
    • Support the development and upkeep of the Employer Success Knowledge Base and internal guides, helping ensure that processes, templates, and FAQs remain current and easy to use. 
    • Monitor assigned workflows to ensure no task or issue falls through the cracks; escalate complex or cross-team employer challenges to your direct supervisor for alignment and resolution. 
    • Build and deepen employer relationships through conferences, in-person partner events, site visits, and other strategic engagement opportunities. Identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships, increase employer engagement, and support long-term growth

  • Systems, Data, and Reporting (20%) 
    • Maintain accurate, up-to-date employer data in RIO, HubSpot, and related systems; ensure records are complete and reflect current contacts, agreements, and onboarding status. 
    • Generate reports and dashboards tracking employer engagement, onboarding progress, and invoicing readiness. 
    • Identify data gaps or discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions across Growth teams. 
    • Test and refine employer workflows, tools, and automations in partnership with your direct supervisor and data/tech teams. 

  • Cross-Team Projects & Continuous Improvement (15%) 
    • Initiate, scope, and report on cross-functional projects tied to departmental OKRs in collaboration with the Director, Manager, and other team members. Contribute findings and recommendations to team retrospectives and system improvement discussions. 
    • Design and document “minimum viable” process improvements to streamline recurring tasks. 
    • Contribute to shared resources such as the Employer Success Guidebook, templates, and orientation materials. 
    • Strengthen coordination and handoffs between Growth, Academics, and University Services. 

  • Operational Learning & Professional Growth (10%) 
    • Participate in retrospectives and learning sessions to strengthen team performance. 
    • Share insights and learn industry best practices to build institutional knowledge across the Employer Success function. 
    • Contribute to departmental OKRs, metrics reviews, and professional development activities. 
    • Participate in team retrospectives and contribute insights into the system feedback loops led by the Director. 
Key Metrics & Success Indicators Success in this role will be measured by: 
  • Employer Engagement & Responsiveness 
    • Timely and professional responses to all employer inquiries (≤ 2 business days on average). 
    • Positive employer feedback on communication and support. Consistent, proactive outreach to assigned employers during onboarding, recruitment,  verification cycles. 
    • Demonstrated engagement in conferences, in-person events, site visits, and other strategic partner opportunities that deepen relationships and contribute to partner growth. 

  • Operational Accuracy & Reliability
    •  ≥ 95% accuracy of employer and site data inHubSpot and other platforms. 
    • Clean and complete records for all assigned partners, including contact details, employer data, and documentation. 

  • Project Execution 
    • On-time and complete delivery of cross-functional projects. 
    • Positive feedback from internal partners following major deliverables. 

  • Team Contribution & Collaboration
    • Active and strategic participation in weekly team meetings, retrospectives, and cross-functional coordination. 
    • Positive internal feedback from peers and collaborating departments (Academics, Partnerships, Enablement, Registrar, etc.). 
    • Demonstrated ownership of tasks and proactive communication of blockers or risks. 

  • Learning & Continuous Improvement 
    • Engagement in at least one professional development or team learning activity per quarter. 
    • Regular sharing of process improvement ideas or feedback based on employer or internal experience.
  • 4–6 years of experience in employer partnerships, customer success, enrollment operations, or workforce/apprenticeship programs. 
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with external partners. 
  • Experience with CRM or data systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or a Student Information System (SIS). 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment. 
  • Experience in higher education, workforce development, or apprenticeship programs preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Salary:
The salary range for this role is $78,000–$89,000 commensurate with experience.
