Job Description:

  • Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, co-pays, deductibles, and coverage for Senior/Elder Care services.
  • Contact insurance providers and use online portals to confirm eligibility and benefits.
  • Collect, review, and maintain accurate patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation.
  • Educate patients on insurance coverage, preventive care services, and estimated out-of-pocket costs.
  • Answer patient inquiries and provide guidance on insurance benefits and care options.
  • Coordinate with physicians, care coordinators, and nursing home staff to support patient enrollment and timely care.
  • Identify patients due for preventive care and assist with appointment scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate records in EHR/EMR and insurance verification systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
  • Generate reports on eligibility verification, patient enrollment, and insurance coverage trends.
  • Follow company and client policies, procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Medical, but not required)
  • Consultancy basis minimum of 6 months consultancy contract (subject for renewal)
    • At least 1–2 years of experience in healthcare insurance verification, eligibility and benefits verification, patient registration, or a related healthcare support role.
    • Must have excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
    • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
    • Strong communication skills and customer centric
    • Willing to work in shifting schedules, mostly night shift
    • Able to work from home, must have a reliable internet connection
