We are looking for a Director, Technology Alliances to lead and expand a portfolio of strategic technology partnerships that support our product strategy and long-term growth objectives.

About the Role

As Director, Technology Alliances, you will be responsible for developing alliance strategies, managing executive-level partner relationships, and driving collaborative go-to-market initiatives. You will play a key role in influencing vendor roadmaps, identifying new growth opportunities, and ensuring that partnerships deliver commercial value, operational effectiveness, and differentiated customer outcomes. Success in this role requires strong relationship management, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively across global, cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Alliance Management 

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key technology vendors, software partners, and industry ecosystem participants. 

• Create and execute alliance strategies aligned with product portfolio objectives and company growth priorities. 

• Establish executive-level engagement models and governance frameworks with strategic partners. 

• Conduct regular business reviews, roadmap reviews, and strategic planning sessions with vendors. 

• Manage partner tiering and classification models to ensure appropriate focus and investment. 

Business Development & Go-to-Market 

• Develop joint business plans and partnership growth strategies. 

• Support co-marketing initiatives, sales enablement activities, joint customer engagements, and lead generation programs. 

• Work with Marketing and Sales teams to develop compelling joint value propositions and solution positioning. 

• Identify and support revenue-generating opportunities that leverage partner technologies and programmes. 

• Coordinate participation in partner programmes, certifications, designations, and incentive schemes. 

Commercial & Operational Management 

• Support negotiation of commercial agreements, partnership terms, incentives, and business commitments. 

• Collaborate with Procurement and Legal teams on contracts, renewals, governance structures, and compliance requirements. 

• Monitor partner performance, commitments, and value realization against agreed objectives and KPIs. 

• Manage escalation processes and resolve operational or commercial issues affecting partnership success. 

• Ensure partnership investments deliver measurable business outcomes and customer value. 

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in technology alliances, partner management, product management, business development, vendor management, or strategic partnerships.
• Experience managing relationships with technology vendors in networking, cloud, cybersecurity, software, or managed services.
• Familiarity with major technology partner ecosystems, including HPE Aruba, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
• Demonstrated experience influencing executive stakeholders and managing strategic partnerships.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and business case development experience.
• Understanding of technology product lifecycle management and go-to-market processes.
• Ability to operate effectively across global, cross-functional organisations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in Telecommunications, Technology, or complex B2B services environments.

Nice to have

• Relevant industry certifications and alliance programme accreditations.

Hours / Travel / Shift

Normal Office Hours. Remote with flexibility to travel as and when required for customer/team meetings.
