The Director of Enrichment Programs will own the multi-year enrichment strategy, P&L, and portfolio management across the school network. They will drive operational execution by partnering with regional and school leaders to ensure consistent program quality, compliance, and financial performance.

Job Details

Families choose an Endeavor school for the learning that happens during the day. Increasingly, they stay for everything around it: music, sports, STEM, world language, summer camp, and before- and after-school programs. We're looking for an operator who sees that opportunity as a business, and who wants to own it.

As our Director of Enrichment Programs, you'll own the P&L, shape the program portfolio, and lead the change across our network that turns great ideas into programs running consistently in every school. If you've delivered measurable results hands-on, whether as an execution-focused consultant or a multi-site operator, this is a rare chance to build something with real scale and real impact on children and families.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This isn't a role where you hand a strategy deck to someone else. You'll set a multi-year enrichment strategy and then personally drive it into the field, partnering with Regional Directors and School Leaders who don't report to you but whose success is your success. You'll decide which programs we build in-house and which we partner for, how we price and package them, and how we measure what's working. Along the way, you'll strengthen the operational foundation every program depends on: health, safety, and licensing compliance, school-level financial performance, and family and staff satisfaction.

You'll report to the Chief Strategy Officer and work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Finance, Marketing, Enrollment, and Academics.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Set the strategy and program portfolio

  • Own a multi-year enrichment strategy covering in-house programs, third-party partners, and pricing and packaging.
  • Evaluate new programs with a clear business case: family demand, pricing, margin, staffing impact, and fit with the school day.
  • Track market trends and competitors to keep our offerings strong in every region, and build the enrichment operating model and team as it grows.

Drive execution in the field

  • Partner with Regional Directors and School Leaders to set school-level enrichment plans and participation goals.
  • Create rollout plans, SOPs, and toolkits so every school launches and runs programs the same way.
  • Lead change management so new programs and standards are adopted and sustained, and coach School Leaders on scheduling, family communication, and turning interest into enrollment.
  • Partner with Marketing and Enrollment to use enrichment to attract and retain families.

Own the numbers

  • Own the enrichment P&L and deliver annual revenue and contribution margin targets, in partnership with FP&A.
  • Report monthly performance by school and region, find root causes when results fall short, and drive corrective action.
  • Improve margin through pricing, vendor terms, and staffing utilization, and support schools in meeting goals for enrollment, retention, and EBITDA.

Manage vendors and partners

  • Source, negotiate, and manage enrichment partners, including contracts, revenue share, service levels, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure every outside instructor meets background check, licensing, and insurance requirements in every state.

Protect health, safety, and quality

  • Ensure every program complies with federal, state, and local licensing and accreditation requirements, including ratios, supervision, and space use.
  • Lead health and safety policy development, learn from licensing findings, and set program quality standards that families can count on.

Build people and culture

  • Support the growth and retention of Regional Directors, School Leaders, and teachers, and design training that helps schools deliver and promote enrichment well.
  • Foster a culture of excellence grounded in Endeavor's Core Values.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

We're intentionally looking beyond the education industry. If you bring proven operating and transformation experience from another sector, we want to hear from you. You'll likely come from one of two paths:

  • The Execution-Focused Consultant. A Manager, Senior Manager, or Director at a major management consulting firm with a track record in operational transformation, performance improvement, or change management. Your client work focused on implementation: leading projects through execution to measurable results, not strategy or due diligence alone.
  • The Multi-Site Operator. A Program Lead, Director, or VP who has owned the P&L for a program or service line across multiple sites. Healthcare, consumer/retail, and business or industrial services backgrounds are especially relevant.

You also bring

  • 8+ years of progressive experience, including multi-site operations leadership.
  • Demonstrated ownership of results, through full P&L accountability or consulting engagements carried from start to finish.
  • Strong financial acumen: P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and margin analysis.
  • The ability to lead change across many sites and get results through field leaders who don't report to you.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, including running multiple launches at once.
  • Clear, confident communication with School Leaders, families, vendors, and executives.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience with dashboards and reporting tools.
  • A bachelor's degree (business, finance, economics, education, or related field preferred); a master's degree is a plus.

Bonus points for

  • Experience negotiating and managing vendor or partner contracts.
  • Experience in a regulated, safety-sensitive environment, such as licensed facilities.
  • Familiarity with Procare, Zoom, and Box.

Good to know

  • Regular travel to schools across multiple states (25%), including overnight travel and occasional evening and weekend work.
  • Ability to walk school facilities and observe programs in classrooms, playgrounds, and gyms, and to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must pass all required state and company background checks.
