Oracle is seeking a  high-performing Data Platform Account Executive to drive growth across strategic Enterprise and Commercial customers throughout Western Canada.

This individual contributor role spans all major industry verticals, helping organizations modernize how they leverage data, analytics, AI, database, and cloud technologies. You will own and develop strategic customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and help customers modernize their data architectures, accelerate AI adoption, and drive business transformation through Oracle's industry-leading Data Platform and multi-cloud portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Own, develop, and grow a portfolio of strategic Enterprise and Commercial accounts across Western Canada, spanning multiple industries and customer segments.
• Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior business and technology stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, CFOs, and business leaders.
• Drive sales of Oracle's AI Data Platform, Database, Analytics, AI, and Cloud solutions, developing new opportunities and expanding Oracle's footprint within existing customers.
• Lead strategic customer conversations around data modernization, AI adoption, analytics transformation, cloud modernization, operational efficiency, and digital innovation.
• Position Oracle as a strategic partner for multi-cloud and hybrid cloud transformation, helping customers leverage Oracle technology across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory strategies that align Oracle's technology portfolio with customers' business priorities and transformation initiatives.
• Generate, develop, manage, and close complex enterprise opportunities while maintaining a strong pipeline, disciplined sales process, and accurate forecast.
• Identify and develop net-new business opportunities while expanding relationships and technology adoption within Oracle's existing customer base.
• Partner closely with Sales Engineering, OCI, AI, Applications, Consulting, Customer Success, Industry, Marketing, and Alliances to bring the full value of Oracle to customers.
• Build relationships with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs), cloud partners, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and other ecosystem partners to identify opportunities and accelerate customer transformation.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams throughout complex sales cycles, from initial customer engagement and solution development through commercial negotiations and successful close.
• Represent Oracle in executive customer meetings, industry events, partner engagements, and other strategic forums across Western Canada.

This role provides the opportunity to work across all major industries in Western Canada, including Financial Services, Telecommunications, Media, Technology, Retail, Manufacturing, Energy, Transportation, Utilities, Healthcare, Professional Services, and other strategic Enterprise and Commercial segments.

You will work with customers to unlock greater value from their enterprise data through secure, scalable, AI-ready, and multi-cloud architectures while helping them address some of their most important technology and business priorities.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of successful enterprise technology sales experience, with a demonstrated ability to develop and close complex, strategic opportunities.
• Experience selling Data Platforms, Databases, Analytics, AI, Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS, PaaS, or related enterprise technology solutions.
• Demonstrated success building relationships and selling to CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, CFOs, and other senior executive stakeholders.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding quota, developing new business, expanding strategic accounts, and closing complex enterprise opportunities.
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, AI/ML, analytics, databases, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technology transformation.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud strategies and technologies spanning OCI, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Strong prospecting and business-development capabilities with the ability to create new opportunities within both existing and prospective customers.
• Exceptional account planning, communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive engagement skills.
• Ability to navigate complex organizations, manage long and sophisticated sales cycles, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy across a large geographic territory.

Responsibilities

Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.

CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $121,200 to $171,200 per annum.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
