The Role

BinSentry is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to join the Corporate Development team through a paid, full-time, six-month fellowship running from October 5, 2026 to April 5, 2027. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Corporate Development, you will work closely with the CEO, executive leadership team and functional leaders to evaluate new markets, support strategic transactions, develop partnerships and bring structure to high-priority business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the evaluation and execution of M&A opportunities, including target research, strategic rationale, financial analysis, valuation, diligence coordination, transaction materials and integration planning.
  • Build financial models, business cases and valuation analyses for acquisitions, partnerships, new markets and other capital-allocation decisions.
  • Research markets, customers, competitors and industry trends, including TAM/SAM analysis, country prioritization and acquisition or partnership targets.
  • Support global business-development strategy by developing market-entry plans, customer and partner target lists, outreach materials and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Prepare clear, concise and decision-oriented presentations, deal memos, board materials, investor materials and executive briefings.
  • Collaborate across Finance, Product, Sales, Operations, Legal and other functions, as well as with investors, advisors and external counterparties, while owning project plans, trackers and defined workstreams.

What Success Looks Like

  • You quickly build an understanding of BinSentry's business, growth priorities and corporate-development pipeline.
  • Your models, research and recommendations give senior leaders a clear, reliable basis for decisions.
  • You bring structure, momentum and sound judgment to ambiguous, high-priority work with limited guidance.
  • You respond to feedback at approximately 30, 60 and 90 days and demonstrate increasing ownership throughout the fellowship.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, engineering, data analytics or another relevant field, completed by the anticipated start date.
  • Zero to two years of relevant experience through employment, internships, co-op placements or project work in investment banking, consulting, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, strategic finance or a high-growth operating company.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort with financial statements, business models and quantitative information, plus strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, ambiguous situations.
  • Collaborative, low-ego working style and willingness to travel periodically to BinSentry offices, customer locations and other business meetings.

Preferred

  • Interest in agriculture, technology, industrial businesses or the animal-production supply chain.
  • Experience creating executive-ready analysis, presentations, transaction materials or business cases.
  • Exposure to growth-stage companies, market-entry analysis, M&A, partnerships or capital-allocation decisions.

Why Join BinSentry

  • Work at the intersection of strategy, finance, M&A and business development on initiatives central to BinSentry's growth.
  • Gain direct exposure to the Vice President of Corporate Development, the CEO, executive leaders, investors, advisors and cross-functional teams.
  • Mission-driven work: Our technology supports the people and operations that feed the world.
  • Strong performers may be considered for conversion to a permanent Corporate Development Analyst role before or at the end of the fellowship, based on performance, mutual fit and business needs. Conversion is not guaranteed.
